I know there’s been some rumors / “leaks” in regard to a certain Final Fantasy character crossing over into another game flying around. I won’t be making a video on it because I try my best to avoid leaks and rumors. Anyone can make up a rumor and leaks ruin the surprise and hard work of developers and it really sucks to see. Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone was curious as to why I hadn’t talked about it yet.

For those still playing DISSIDIA Duellum what’s your current experience like playing the game? I feel like I’ve reached a wall where I can’t keep up or progress unless I put money into the game, which I’d prefer not to do. I think I’m currently on a 5 game losing streak 🫠

Hey everyone. Unfortunately my video titled “Hamaguchi Teases More FF7 Rebirth PS5 Improvements | Rebirth PSSR 2 & FF9's Black Mages Legacy” has been hit with a copyright claim because of the NVIDIA footage I used in the video. However NVIDIA didn’t hit me with a claim, instead some random Italian news network has hit me with a copyright claim saying that they own that footage, which is absolutely absurd. I’ve submitted a dispute with the claim, but for now the video has been blocked in over 200 countries including the US, Canada and the United Kingdom with the revenue in escrow. If you were looking for the video and couldn’t find it that’s why. I’m hoping my dispute goes through and the claim is removed.

I downloaded DISSIDIA Duellum to try it out and ended up having a lot of fun playing it. I lost track of time and ended up playing for an hour and a half and even then the only reason I stopped was because my phone was getting hot 😂. Controls are a bit wonky (it is a smartphone game), but the game features some cool artwork and great musical rearrangements from the series. Funny enough I think it would be even better on a console with controller support and a 16:9 widescreen image instead of a portrait view. Moving the camera and surveying the field is a bit tough on a phone.

Today marks Resident Evil’s 30th Anniversary. One of my favorite franchises of all time. I still remember playing RE Director’s Cut for the first time as a kid (the regular one, not the one with the cheeks ost). Much like FF7 it showed me how grand games could be and only strengthened my love for them. Here’s to 30 more!

Thanks to everyone who responded to my last poll. I’ll be uploading that panel reaction video either next week or the week after. We also got some interesting posts from Cody Christian and Britt Baron’s Instagram pages where it looks like they may have been in the same recording studio together at the same time. I’ll be talking about that hopefully in Monday’s video which should also include the next part of the Ever Crisis Battle for the Planet story event (should that go live on Saturday). Hey everyone. Back in December of last year I recorded a reaction to an FF7 panel that I never uploaded. I shelved it because I felt like I didn’t really add much to the conversation and the video was a lot longer than I was expecting. Would you guys still be interested in seeing it?
