6 years ago, I posted my first ambiance on YouTube. A crackling fireplace. No plan, no strategy. just the desire to create a calm place on the internet.
Today, over 32,000 of you are listening.
And all this time, one question kept nagging at me: how do I organize all of this? How do I give meaning to 118 ambiances scattered across a YouTube channel?
The answer is Sonaë.
Sonaë is a universe I imagined — 10 kingdoms, each tied to an emotion. Adventure, serenity, mystery, warmth... Every video I create belongs to a world.

My latest video "Pirate Tavern" tested something new: a complete 10-minute story at the beginning, followed by 7 hours of pure ambience.
The concept:

Story lovers → full immersive narrative
Sleep seekers → skip directly to 0:10 for ambience
Workers/studiers → distraction-free background sounds

The reality: The stats tell me it didn't work as planned 📉
I could analyze the numbers alone... or I could ask you directly.

SIMPLE QUESTIONS:
Question 1: Did you listen to Morgan Blackwater's story?
Reply with an emoji:

👂 = Yes, listened to everything
⏭️ = No, I skipped straight to ambience
🤔 = Started but gave up


Question 2: If you skipped, why?
Reply with an emoji:

💤 = I just wanted to sleep, not listen to a story
⏰ = 25 minutes is way too long
🎧 = I prefer pure ambience sounds only
