Hello!⚡️
I am a battery scientist & engineer who has been working in the battery industry since 2010. I LOVE sharing all of the cool scientific concepts I have learned throughout my career in battery R&D and consulting. I have my BS in physics and MS in materials science & engineering.
Here I share about battery technology and industry trends, professional development, and more!

The “Holy Grail” of battery cell research & process engineering is to know how a battery will perform BEFORE it’s assembled and on a cycler for days to months.
As a battery scientist, I love tools that enable forecasting of material properties to save time and cost as well as reduce carbon footprint of battery R&D + manufacturing.
I’m very excited to share that I’m partnering with Hioki to share a new tool, the Slurry Analyzer, in a webinar. This is one of those “Holy Grail” tools which can evaluate battery electrode electrical properties before it’s made, expediting research and enhancing process engineering.
Join us on June 29th at 11am PST, 1pm CDT, and 8pm CET for a 1-hour info session where I’ll cover the science behind and capabilities of this incredible tool!

I wanted to announce that I just started a new job as Director of Technical Program Management at Electric Goddess, an energy storage consulting company ⚡️
Excited to share that I’ll be working on growing the company’s YouTube channel! 🎉
We see the need for sharing accurate information on batteries & electrochemistry including safe practices for pack design, cell testing, and more!
All of your questions and suggestions for videos will be answered as we create more content for you 😊
More soon!

Hello! I’ve never used this community feature, but maybe I should. I get so many wonderful messages from subscribers through Instagram, Linked In, and in the comments section. Thank you for your words of encouragement and feedback! It’s nice to know I’m not the only electrochem nerd out there ☺️
Going to be filming some new videos this weekend now that I have some extra time & fixed my computer!
Stay tuned for more soon! 🎉
