My online mission is to help people align with the creative path. I believe there lies a deep joy, fulfillment, and magic in the pursuit of our own artist's journey. There are great principles and practices I have experienced in my own journey which I wish to share with you. I also believe our creative gifts are aligned with our potential to do good for the world. There is meaning in our work, and the more we embrace this higher road, the more we embrace our collective responsibility for this planet.

Please do not stop making art just because it's not getting the recognition your mind is attached to.
Art is a precious thing that humanity has and it will only become more and more important as a mode of communication, especially in the rise of our transactional, hyper-technological age. We need true human stories told through art to remind us of what's important. Art shines through.
An investment of your time into this practice is important and it'd be a shame to lose a creator because they didn't reap the fruits they thought they'd get. Perhaps the fruits were growing in a part of the garden that they weren't looking at.
Your calling to the arts is enough to justify your pursuit of creativity. Do not get bogged down by stats/views/external reception.
Do not judge.
Those things are a part of our transactional culture. Don't fall into it. Focus on what truly matters - the work, the journey, the feeling.

It's not all about work
Sometimes it's best to work, and sometimes it's best to play, and sometimes it's best to be present with those around us.
Finding your balance amongst the different parts of life is building your relationship with harmony - a beautiful spiritual principle we all have within us.
When you "work" when you should, it will help your "play". When you "play" when you should, it will help your "work".
By should - I mean the intuitive feeling within which guides you on where to direct your energy at the moment.
"Work" and "play" are in quotations because this is all about perception. What do you see as work? What do you see as play? Are they one in the same? These answers are within you.
Life is a mysterious balance on this cosmic wave we're all riding together. Safe travels!

Up to the stars

The magic we seek
Hidden within our tasks
If not for the struggle
To overcome the mind

Just because things didn't go to plan, doesn't mean that the plan wasn't pivotal to getting you to where you are now.
There is purpose and design to the path we walk. When doubts arise, lean into faith.
Put your efforts and energy into the plans and goals your soul has given you, not the fears and expectations your mind has subscribed to them.

Trust how you feel.
Ask yourself, "How do I feel about what I'm making? What direction should I take this in?
Realize that there's such a deep validity to how you authentically feel about the work you're making.
Imagine what would be possible if your deep emotions were the reliable source of guidance you return to when you felt lost on what you should be doing with the work.
Imagine if every time you needed to know what you should do in the process, you were able to comfortably tune inwards and sense how you felt.
What would be possible if that was the case?
Imagine for a moment.
Now, trust yourself. Trust how you feel. And act on that feeling.
Go create that art.

Don't stray from your vision.
Yes it will change and transform as you go about creating the art, but those changes will naturally become a part of your vision. So don’t stray from it.
One of the ways we sharpen our swords as artists is by seeing the vision through.
It takes strength and commitment to see a vision through because obstacles and challenges will inevitably come up. But the world is testing your ability to stick to your vision and bring the artwork to full manifestation.
If you see where this thing needs to go, then go there.
And follow where the vision takes you as you create it.
Trust the vividness. Trust the emotion.
This is your intuition. It’s a great superpower.
Go and see your vision through.

Ego, doubt, fear, procrastination, laziness – the forms of resistance
These are the things we must become sensitive to so that we’re aware of when they come up.
If they come up in our process and we notice them prolonging our progress, then journal about it. Write out what you’re feeling and experiencing. Put it under the light.
The greatest act of rebellion against these obstacles is to just do it.
To do the thing that they’re trying to stop you from doing.
Courage is not not experiencing fear. Courage is experiencing fear, but moving forward despite it.
So, just write it. Make it. Create it. Sing it. Draw it. Film it.
It’s like a bee getting pollen from a flower in the morning. The bee doesn’t overthink whether or not it should get the pollen. The bee just flies on over and does what it was made to do.
You were made for this. This is what you’re meant to do.
