Some more work-hour thoughts: Avoiding trauma Vs. Using it as a fuel for artistic expression.

You might've heard of the adage: "Take your broken heart and turn it into art."

This is very true, especially if you consider the idea that trauma is most effectively dealt with through expression via a creative outlet.

And this is more so true for men, as we are neurophysiologically hardwired to deal with difficult emotions through action and more movement.

The thing is that most people try to run away from, or stuff/fight their traumas, and this doesn't end up well, in my opinion.

The baggage just amplifies its gravity, and there's overall just more mental coercion and strain.

Perhaps you could try to engage in an artistic endeavour to smoothly release the stuckness without the strain.

That, I believe, is the natural way to go about this.

Just some thoughts on work and action-taking during work hours:

Acting on instinct vs. swirling around in your thoughts waiting for the "right information."

In actuality, it is your instinct that often holds the right information.

It is ancient wisdom made manifest in our body and being.

The latter is also the difference between successful execution and endless mental masturbation.

As action taken through instinct is actually what's potent and powerful.

It might not be what sounds sexy or scientific on paper.

But it is what actually gets you results.

Tune in, trust the wisdom of your body and being.

It has been in existence for millions and millions of years.

Whereas the bookish information you're seeking has been around for only a few decades or so.

Do you agree?

Are you acting on instinct or waiting for the "right information" to act?

What meditating and staying in and around the Himalayas taught me about mindset and inner work.

Firstly, many of our thoughts and strong emotions are the manifestation of unclean energy.

When we become a pure energy source, most of these automatically detach themselves from our being.

Much like the old leaves of a tree which wear off and fall down eventually.

Also, it's futile to cram your head with more mindset hacks or affirmations or any other mentally coercive techniques until your inherent energy is pure and clean.

For this reason, most mindset hacks and other mental techniques don't work well/long term for most people.

It's also important to acquaint yourself with the inevitability of death, as avoiding it (or the emotion of it) will prevent you from truly living life and engaging with it and its possibilities.

And lastly, meditation, by itself, is not enough for mental peace and wellbeing, especially when there are strong emotional, subconscious causes for your anxiety, depression, and trepidations.

The mountains can be a fascinating place which energetically uplift you owing to their pure vibrational essence.

And it's more so beneficial when you have the right, organic-quality food to fuel you during your stay there.

Like I had, back when I was living up there.

You are revealed to your most transparent self and authentic essence when you filter out the noise and really tune in.

True passion is the stuff that keeps you going despite your tiredness.

It is what makes you not want to dream while sleeping and rather go after those dreams.

It is what makes you glad to wake up to reality, instead of sleepIng over and avoiding it.

It is that childlike excitement that serves as an inexhaustible fuel even when you're physically worn out.

Just some insights after a short day at work.

Are you driven by your passion? Or by worldly motivations?

Hard work vs. effortless success.

Which is the ideal path ahead?

In my observation, it's all about where your inner alignment naturally gravitates towards.

If hard work and massive action feels the most instinctive and natural to you, then it might be the ideal path.

If surrender and allowance feels instinctive and natural, then that might be the ideal.

Also, perhaps, depending on the phase of the journey you're in, you might experience the need to alternate between these two contrasting modes of operation.

Like any other endeavour of life, I believe it's a great deal about tapping into your source energy and understanding its ebb and flow.

So what's the "right" mode for you might not necessarily be what online experts claim, but rather what's true for you energy-wise in the moment.

Tune in and tap into the wisdom of your deeper being.

The true self that is independent of any external or worldly, mental labels.

That is the source of your power and intelligence.

Immersing yourself in the essence of different cultures expands your mind and fills it with colours of different possibilities. 🎨 🤠

Not exactly a mindset-themed pic, but was reminded of how vital it is to engage yourself with different experiences and vibes at times.

And immersing yourself in different cultural setups can be powerful too, in expanding your mind and it horizons. 🧠 💭

"Words become flesh." - The Bible.

It's in the last few years that I've realised the visceral depth of this.

Whatever you deeply believe, in the way of words or rooted ideas, are made manifest in your physical being.

Sunlight isn't just a dose of Vitamin D.

It helps you kill your strongest demons, psychologically speaking.

It kills your deep-rooted fears, anxieties, and also lethargy and sloth that would've otherwise plagued you had you stayed inside all day.

This is why perhaps the ancients have the sun god-like importance.

Do you expose yourself to the Sun God Daily?
