Forgiveness is not looking at something terrible that happened and deciding to excuse it.
True forgiveness begins with a different recognition.
What you see now has already happened. The image is already in the past. You do not need to change the image. You need to allow the mind that is looking at it to be healed.
When you see suffering on the news, when someone hurts you, or when an old memory returns, notice what arises in you. Fear. Anger. Judgment. Guilt. Do not fight it. Do not make it real and then struggle to forgive it.
Call upon the Holy Spirit within you and give Him the entire image. Give Him the event, the people involved, your judgment of them, your fear, and your belief that something real has been damaged.
Each time you do this, another layer of the ego is undone.
Forgiveness is not changing the past. It is allowing the meaning you gave the past to be healed.
And as forgiveness continues, what seemed so solid begins to lose its power over you.
This is the true meaning of forgiveness.

THE HUMAN CONDITION
We built taller cities, faster networks, and more powerful machines than any generation before us.
Yet anxiety continues to rise. Loneliness spreads. People consume endless information but struggle to answer the simplest question:
WHO AM I?
Our greatest crisis may not be political, economic, or technological.
It may be an identity crisis.
When we forget what we truly are, fear becomes our default language. We search for security in possessions, approval, ideology, relationships, careers, and endless distraction. Every temporary answer eventually demands another.
A crowd can share the same fear, but it cannot share the same Self.
Knowledge without self-knowledge becomes noise. Progress without purpose becomes acceleration in the wrong direction. Success without identity leaves the same emptiness wearing more expensive clothes.
Perhaps humanity does not need another revolution of technology.
Perhaps it needs a revolution of perception.
The moment we stop asking the world to tell us who we are, something extraordinary becomes possible.
We begin to remember.
And everything we see begins to change.

Most people believe peace is waiting somewhere in the future.
After the problem is solved.

After someone changes.
After life finally becomes easier.
Today, don't try to fix those thoughts.
Don't argue with them.
Scan your mind.
Notice every place where you believe peace depends on something outside yourself.
Observe what your mind is asking the world to provide.
Find the condition that says,
"I can finally be at peace when..."
That condition is not peace.
It is the obstacle you placed in front of peace.
There is no peace except the peace of God.

YOUR JOB IS NOT YOUR SOURCE
Ask someone where their income comes from, and they will probably name a job, a business, or something they sell.
That answer sounds reasonable.
But it confuses the channel with the Source.
A person who fills a bucket from a river may believe the river created the water. Yet the river is only carrying what came from somewhere greater. It is a channel, not the origin.
Your job works the same way.
It may be one of the channels through which supply reaches you, but it is not the Source of your supply. A channel can change, narrow, disappear, or be replaced. None of that means the Source has disappeared.
Your Being sustains you.
The job was never the Source.
The business was never the Source.
They were ways through which support arrived.
The channel may change.
The Source remains.
