I’m Caleb Baker, story seeker, adventure chaser, and sometimes explorer of the unexplained. This isn’t just about rigs and roads. For me, it’s about uncovering the stories hidden in the dust, the silence, and the space between.

90 pounds down in 4.5 months. I occasionally get questions about what I’m doing to drop the weight. The answer is not what most want to hear. I eat clean and eat less. Add in some workouts and cut any drink with calories and you’re set. Yes, that means booze too. Sucks. But so does being super fat. Sometimes people ask if I’m on glp1’s. Nope. Tried it. Made me sick. But if that works for you, do it. No matter what route you take it’ll be hard. Cutting calories is hard. Working out is hard. Weight loss surgery is hard. Glp1 is hard. Staying fat is hard. Choose your hard. 💪🏻

One of my favorite videos Tyler (‪@IndependenceOverland‬) has made. He just posted his version of the trip we did together and it is incredible. Don’t miss this one.

When Rollercam reached out and asked if I’d be interested in designing a custom strap with them, I didn’t have to think twice. I’ve been using their straps on my rig for years, long before they ever paid me a dime, because they’re simply that good.

I know a lot of people see posts like this and assume it’s just another paid promotion. The reality is, I was already buying and trusting Rollercam products before we ever worked together. That’s exactly why this collaboration means so much to me. It’s a product I genuinely believe in.

One of the things I appreciate most about Rollercam is that they don’t charge an “overland tax.” You get uncompromising quality, incredibly durable materials, innovative engineering, and products made right here in the USA, all at a fair price. It’s the kind of gear every off roader should have in their recovery kit.

I’m really proud of how this limited edition strap turned out, and I can’t wait for you all to get your hands on one. They’re only available for a limited time, so head over to Rollercam.com and grab yours before they’re gone!

🔥 MEMBER TRIP X IS HERE! 🔥

📍 Ozark National Forest
📅 August 7 to 9

We’re heading back to the Ozarks for an awesome weekend of camping, wheeling, swimming, campfires, and hanging out.

This trip will have quite a bit more trail time than our previous meetups, so make sure you bring:
• A capable 4x4
• Recovery gear
• A GMRS radio (highly recommended)

I wouldn’t recommend bringing a trailer on this one.

We’ll be camping right by the river, so plan on taking a swim after hitting the trails. It will be hot, so bring plenty of water and come prepared for summer camping.

📍 Exact camp coordinates will be posted in a members only update before the trip.

⚠️ Before attending, everyone must have a signed event waiver on file. If you haven’t already completed one, download it from the Members page at www.bakeroverland.com/members, sign it, and email it to info@starshinemedia.co before the trip. If you don’t have the members password, just shoot me an email and I’ll get it to you.

⚠️ We are limiting this trip to 20 rigs, and spots are first come, first served.

One more important question…

If I bring the projector, what movie are we watching around the campfire? 👀🍿

Fire in the Sky seems pretty fitting… 🛸

30,000.

That’s a number I’m incredibly grateful for, and I don’t take a single one of you for granted. Thank you for choosing to come along on these adventures.

But here’s something I’ve learned over the last few years…

Subscriber count isn’t what makes a YouTube channel successful anymore.

The videos that win are the ones people actually want to watch. The ones that keep you engaged. The ones you share with a friend because you think they’ll enjoy it too.

That’s what I’m chasing.

I don’t really care about sub counts. I’m after better stories. Better adventures. Better videos that are worth your time. I’m trying to cast a wide net and appeal to folks inside and outside the space. I love getting comments about gear and camping but I also love the comments from folks that have never camped and couldn’t care less about trucks. If both people watch and enjoy my content then I’m doing my job.

If the next video reaches a million people, awesome. If it only reaches a thousand people who genuinely enjoy it, that’s awesome too.

So while I’m thankful for 30,000 subscribers, I’m even more thankful that so many of you keep coming back, leaving comments, sharing your experiences, and making this community what it is.

Here’s to better stories. 🤘🏻🛸🇺🇸

This one is live! We investigated the most convincing UFO abduction story in history. ‪@IndependenceOverland‬ and I tell the Travis Walton story and search the site for radiation. Incredible experience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hwohk...
