A quick update for my Budget Tooles family. ♥️

There won't be a Friday Cash Stuffing this week.

It's been a full couple of weeks, and I've decided to give myself permission to slow down for a few days. My son is visiting, I have one final leadership commitment this weekend, and instead of rushing to get a video out, I'm choosing to be present.

Over the last year, I've spent so much of my life in survival mode. Learning YouTube. Learning to edit. Budgeting every dollar. Paying down debt. Building this channel. Clawing my way back to a healthier place, one step at a time.

This weekend, I'm choosing something that survival doesn't always allow.

I'm choosing to enjoy the remainder of my son's visit, take care of a few personal things I've been putting off, and simply be present.

Because one of the biggest lessons this journey has taught me is that rebuilding isn't just about paying off debt or reaching financial goals. It's also about making room to live again.

Thank you for giving me the grace to do that. I appreciate each and every one of you more than you know.

I'll be back next week, rested, recharged, and ready to stuff some cash. 💕

💗 Budget Tooles Family 💗

For those of you following my rebuilding journey, I wanted to give you a quick update.

This has been my first week at my new job, and I have to admit... I'm exhausted! 😅

I haven't worked an 8-hour day in more than 25 years. Working in education, my days were typically around 6 hours, so this has definitely been an adjustment. Add to that returning to work after nearly a year of unemployment, and my body is reminding me that it's getting used to a whole new routine.

The good news is... I'm really enjoying this new season. I've been deep in training all week, learning policies, regulations, and everything that comes with my new role. It's a lot to take in, but I'm grateful to be here.

My Friday Cash Stuffing will still be uploaded tomorrow! 💸

My end-of-month June closeout—where we'll total all of June's savings—will likely be posted Saturday or Sunday instead. With the 3-day weekend, I'm hoping to catch up, batch record, and get ahead for next week's content.

Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for continuing to follow along as I rebuild after layoff, pay down debt, and create financial peace one dollar at a time.

I'm doing well... just a little tired.

Okay... can we talk about how crazy this is for a second? 😳💗

I honestly did not expect to be sitting here talking about 500 subscribers this soon.

A week ago, we were celebrating 400.

A WEEK AGO.

I've spent so much of the last year focused on rebuilding my life, finding my footing again, paying down debt, creating savings challenges, and preparing for this new chapter that I haven't always stopped to appreciate what is happening here.

But this one caught me by surprise.

Every day I open YouTube and there are new names in the comments, new subscribers joining the channel, and more people connecting with this little corner of the internet that started with a woman trying to figure out how to move forward after a layoff.

Thank you.

Not just for subscribing, but for showing up.

For encouraging me when things have felt heavy.

Lately, I've been inspired by some of the children I work with.

I've been thinking about how many families are already juggling therapies, supports, appointments, and everyday expenses. At the same time, children deserve opportunities to explore their interests, develop talents, and simply enjoy being kids.

That's what inspired me to create my new Opportunities Collection.
