Some rooms were never built with you in mind. That does not mean you do not belong in them—or cannot succeed in them.

Throughout my career, I learned how to create success in rooms where I was often the only—or one of very few.

I was a woman.
I was African American.
I was a Christ follower.
I did not have a four-year degree.

And many times, the people in the room did not look like me, think like me, or share my values.

Still, I built an extraordinary career.

This August, I am going live each week for a new leadership teaching series:

** How to Succeed in Rooms Not Built for You **

Each week, I will share two practical leadership lessons:

One from my nearly 30-year career—drawing from the experiences and principles I wrote about in From Six Dollars to Six Figures.

And one from my current journey of revolutionizing how leaders are developed through True Transformational Leadership™.

The Unspoken Danger of AI: The Illusion of Self-Sufficiency💥

One of the largely unseen dangers of artificial intelligence is not simply misinformation, job displacement, surveillance, or technological dependence. It is the spiritual danger created by the explosive abundance and accessibility of information.

Humanity has accumulated more information than any one person could consume in a lifetime. And now, through AI, that information is not only available—it can be searched, organized, summarized, and delivered almost instantaneously.

That convenience creates a profound ⚠️ danger for the believer.

When answers appear to be available on demand, people may begin to feel that they need God less. We can mistake access to information for access to truth. We can confuse a generated answer with wisdom, discernment, revelation, or divine direction.

Historically, part of our dependence on God has been formed in the places where we did not know.
✨️We prayed because we did not have the answer.
✨️We waited because the path was unclear.
✨️We tarried because direction had not yet come.
✨️We searched the Scriptures, sought wise counsel, and listened for the voice of God because information alone could not resolve what was before us.

AI has further empowered an instantaneous environment—one in which almost every question receives an immediate response.

✨️We may stop waiting on the Lord because a machine answered quickly.
✨️We may stop allowing patience to have its perfect work because we have been conditioned to expect resolution now.
✨️We may stop wrestling with God because we can prompt a system.
✨️We may stop developing discernment because information has become so easy to obtain.

The danger is not that AI possesses all truth. It is that its abundance, fluency, and speed may create the illusion that we no longer need the One who is Truth.

AI may accelerate access to information, but it cannot replace spiritual formation. It cannot cultivate obedience. It cannot produce the fruit of waiting. It cannot consecrate a person. It cannot determine the will of God simply because it can generate a compelling answer.

The greater the abundance of information becomes, the more disciplined believers must become about protecting their dependence on God.

We must resist the temptation to consult technology before we consult Heaven.✨️
