We are a family of 5 traveling the world together since June 2018. π
After a life-changing trip to Thailand in 2017, we sold everything we owned and chose a different path, one built around travel, curiosity, and being together.
Weβre Mommy (a photographer), Daddy (an acupuncturist), and our three kids: Cosimo, Emma, and Luca.
We took our kids out of traditional school and now world-school as we travel, because for us, the world is the classroom.
Through our videos, we share real family travel, cultural experiences, everyday moments on the road, and the lessons we learn along the way. This channel is our video diary of life beyond the βnormalβ path.
Our hope is to inspire families to let go of fear, trust themselves, and explore the world with the people they love most.
β¨ New travel videos, experiences, and family stories every week.

π¦πΊ New Revised Blog Post!
Before we left for Tasmania, we thought one week would be enough...
We were wrong. β€οΈ
This beautiful island completely surprised us. We explored fascinating convict history at Port Arthur, hiked to the breathtaking Wineglass Bay Lookout, watched the ocean crash into Remarkable Cave, met friendly wallabies, learned about Tasmania's wool industry, and simply fell in love with the incredible scenery around every corner.
Looking back while updating this blog reminded me just how special this week was. It's amazing how many memories came flooding back as I refreshed the photos and stories all these years later.
If you're planning a trip to Australia, I truly think Tasmania deserves a spot on your itinerary!

π New Revised Blog Post!
Did you know one of our favorite travel traditions started completely by accident?
When we began traveling full-time, we quickly realized we couldn't carry all the books we wanted to read. That led us to discover used bookstores, little campground book exchanges, and a tradition that has stayed with our family for the past eight years.
We even started leaving our The 5 World Explorers sticker inside the books we exchanged... and believe it or not, two people actually found them and reached out to us! β€οΈ
I loved looking back at this memory and updating the post with everything we've learned since those early days of traveling.
If you love books, travel, or simply discovering unexpected traditions along the way, I think you'll enjoy this one.

π¦πΊ New revised Blog Post!
Australia will always hold a special place in our hearts. β€οΈ It wasn't just an incredible country to explore; it was where our full-time travel journey truly began.
Looking back eight years later, I realized just how much those first two months shaped us as a family. I completely rewrote this post, reflecting not only on the places we visited but also on everything we learned about ourselves along the way.
And here's the exciting part... in just a few months, we'll be returning to Australia for the first time since this adventure! π¦πΊ We can't wait to see it again through new eyes.

π¦ New blog post refreshed!
One of the most unforgettable experiences we've ever had as a family was our first safari in Tanzania.
For five incredible days, we explored Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the Serengeti, watching wildlife in its natural habitat and learning to slow down to nature's pace.
We spotted all of the Big Five, witnessed the Great Migration, spent over an hour waiting for a black rhino, watched lionesses just meters from our vehicle, and saw countless elephants, giraffes, hippos, leopards, and so much more.
But this trip wasn't just about the animals.
It reminded us of the kindness of strangers, the importance of patience, and why experiencing wildlife where it belongs changes the way you see the world forever.
I've completely refreshed our Tanzania safari blog post with updated writing, family travel tips, and everything we learned along the way.

π΄ New blog post refreshed!
This time I revisited one of our favorite island adventures: Zanzibar, Tanzania.
Zanzibar had been on our bucket list for years, and when we finally arrived, we quickly realized it was so much more than just beautiful beaches.
Over three incredible weeks, we:
π¬ Swam near wild dolphins
πΏ Explored Jozani Forest and met the rare Red Colobus monkeys
β΅ Sailed on traditional dhow boats
πͺΈ Snorkeled around coral reefs
π’ Fed giant tortoises and sea turtles
ποΈ Wandered through the historic streets of Stone Town
π₯ Met locals who inspired adventures we never planned
What surprised us most wasn't the turquoise water or the white sand beaches.
It was the people.
Everywhere we went, we were welcomed with kindness, curiosity, and smiles. Those are the memories that have stayed with us long after leaving the island.
I've refreshed the blog post with updated writing while keeping all of the stories and experiences that made Zanzibar such a special chapter of our travels.

βοΈ Another blog post has been refreshed!
This time, I revisited our Tunisia road trip from 2022, a journey that started thanks to a conversation with friends we met in Turkey.
What I remembered most while updating this post wasn't just the places we visited, although there were plenty of incredible ones: ancient Carthage, the blue-and-white streets of Sidi Bou Said, underground homes in Matmata, Star Wars film locations, and nights spent in the Sahara Desert.
What stood out most was the kindness of the Tunisian people.
No matter where we went, someone was always ready to help, offer directions, share a recommendation, or simply welcome us to their country.
Looking back through the photos and videos also reminded me that not every trip goes according to plan. We battled strong winds in the desert, changed our itinerary more than once, and often traveled in less-than-perfect weather.
Yet those unexpected moments ended up becoming some of our favorite memories.
I've refreshed the article with new reflections while keeping the original stories and experiences intact. Plus, for this country, there are also plenty of our YouTube videos linked in it, so you can get a real feel for it!

From colorful streets and incredible street art to a cooking class, the Rosario Islands, coffee and cacao experiences, and even celebrating Cosimo's 17th birthday, Cartagena gave us memories we'll never forget.

βοΈ Next up in my blog refresh project...
This week I revisited a post from 2019 about our time volunteering at Simoonga Thandizani Trust School in Zambia.
At the time, we were only eight months into our full-time travels and were looking for ways to connect more deeply with the places we visited. What we found was an experience that left a lasting impression on our entire family.
Our kids helped in classrooms, taught dance classes, shared their passions, and discovered that they had something valuable to offer despite their young age. Mass introduced the students to slacklining, and I photographed every child in the school and gifted them a printed portrait.
Looking back through the photos and memories reminded me of one of the biggest lessons from that experience: we all have something valuable to share, no matter our age, background, or life experience.
I've updated the post with fresh reflections while keeping the original story and memories intact.

π Still going through some of our older blog posts and refreshing them, and this week I revisited our South Africa road trip from 2019. For this one, I had also made a video!
At the time, we were only eight months into our full-time travels and still figuring out how we wanted to explore the world as a family. Looking through the photos brought back so many memories:
π¦ Finding giraffes in our driveway before we even entered Kruger National Park.
π Sitting quietly in our car while elephants surrounded us as their herd crossed the road.
π§ Watching African penguins at Boulders Beach.
β€οΈ Spending the night at Knysna Elephant Park and gaining a deeper appreciation for these gentle giants.
Even after visiting many countries since then, South Africa remains one of the most memorable road trips we've ever taken.
I've updated the blog post with new reflections and stories that stand out even more now, years later.

π I recently refreshed one of our older blog posts about our time in Morocco, and rereading it reminded me just how much this country surprised us.
Back when we were traveling through Morocco, we spent 10 days driving from Casablanca to Tangier, passing through Marrakech, Ouarzazate, the Sahara Desert, Fez, and the beautiful blue streets of Chefchaouen.
At the time, we were still relatively new to full-time travel and had no idea how much Morocco would leave an impression on us. Looking back now, after many more years on the road, it remains one of those countries that exceeded our expectations.
As I've been updating some of our older blog posts, I've added more reflections, memories, and lessons from the experience while keeping the original story intact.
If you've ever thought about visiting Morocco, or simply enjoy following our journey around the world, you can read it here:

Have you ever visited a place that turned out to be completely different, in a good way, from what you expected?
P.S. At the time, we were not making videos yet, but only sharing on our blog.
