Most contract problems don’t start in court. They start when someone quietly misses a commitment.
London-based Resolutiion has raised $10.4 million to build AI infrastructure that connects contracts with live delivery information and flags commercial risk before problems turn into formal disputes. Investors named in the round include Cherry Ventures, Octopus Ventures, LocalGlobe and Auxxo.
Its OctaviaCore system is aimed at procurement, operations and programme teams—not just legal departments. The idea is to monitor obligations, delivery milestones and supplier performance before value leaks out of the contract. Valuation and formal round stage were not disclosed.
For enterprises, the value isn’t “AI can read a contract.” Plenty of tools can do that now.
The money is in spotting the problem early enough to fix it cheaply.

Commercial vehicles are changing—and the fluids inside them have to change too.
Valvoline Cummins and VE Commercial Vehicles have renewed their exclusive lubricant partnership for Eicher trucks and buses.
The next phase will focus on areas including CNG applications, heat-transfer fluids and longer oil-drain intervals.
The relationship began in 2019 and this is its second renewal. However, the companies have not disclosed the contract value, minimum volumes or duration of the renewed agreement.
For fleet operators, the real test is practical: can newer fluids reduce downtime and maintenance without compromising reliability?
Less workshop time sounds great. Only validated performance makes it valuable.

EV vans aren’t about looking futuristic. Fleet operators care about space, charging and uptime.
Kia has unveiled the PV7, a larger purpose-built electric commercial vehicle positioned above the PV5. It will come in Cargo and Passenger versions, use Kia’s E-GMP.S platform with an 800V electrical architecture, and the passenger version can seat up to nine people.
Kia says one long-range cargo configuration is targeting more than 460 km WLTP range, while the long Cargo version is designed to carry three Euro pallets. Launches in Korea and Europe are planned for 2027; Kia has not announced an India launch.
For fleet economics, range alone is not enough. Charging downtime, utilisation, payload and financing decide whether an electric van actually saves money.
The best commercial EV isn’t the one with the coolest spec sheet. It’s the one that keeps earning.

This is what useful AI at scale can look like: narrow job, clear rules, human backup.
The US Transportation Security Administration says TSA Ace AI is now handling around 100,000 routine traveller conversations per month, with 96% of supported routine queries resolved without human escalation.
It answers questions using TSA guidance and more than 550 knowledge articles.
Complex cases are handed to TSA staff with context from the conversation. Importantly, Ace is a traveller-guidance assistant—it is not making airport-security screening decisions.
There’s a lesson here for businesses rushing into AI agents: start with repetitive, high-volume work where the answer set is controlled and escalation is obvious.
Don’t automate everything. Automate the boring stuff really well.

A bank moving to cloud is not just a technology project—it’s an operating-model change.
TCS has entered a long-term partnership with Germany’s Aareal Bank to support IT sourcing and infrastructure services as the lender moves toward a more diversified cloud-first technology platform. The programme sits inside Aareal Bank’s broader modernisation strategy.
But this is not a completed cloud migration. The companies have not disclosed the contract value, hyperscaler, migration percentage, expected savings or completion date.
For a regulated bank, the hard part isn’t saying “cloud-first.” It’s migrating critical systems without breaking security, resilience or customer service.
Cloud transformation sounds exciting. Zero-downtime execution pays the bills.

Demand was huge—but oversubscription is not a listing-gain guarantee.
RentoMojo’s IPO closed at 72.88 times subscription, with QIB demand leading at 177.29x.
Non-institutional investors subscribed 67.93x, while the retail portion was subscribed 15.59x.
That tells us investors competed heavily for limited shares—especially institutions. It does not tell us where the stock will trade after listing or whether the valuation will deliver good long-term returns.
For RentoMojo, the long-term business test remains the same: asset utilisation, refurbishment costs, customer retention and cash generation.
IPO demand wins headlines. Profitable operations win over time.

600 stores sounds big. Profitable stores matter more.
Burger King India has opened its 600th restaurant in GTB Nagar, Delhi, taking its network to 140+ cities and 100+ restaurants across Delhi NCR. Its first Indian outlet opened in Saket in 2014, so the milestone also brings the story back to Delhi.
What the milestone proves is distribution scale and geographic reach. What it does not tell us is store-level sales, margins, payback period or same-store growth.
For restaurant businesses, store count is vanity unless each location eventually earns its keep.
Expansion creates visibility. Unit economics create value.

Siri is getting smarter—but not every iPhone gets the same experience.
Apple’s iOS 27 rollout brings a more capable Siri with stronger personal context, on-screen awareness and deeper integration across supported apps and Apple Intelligence features.
Availability depends on device compatibility, language and region, so installing iOS 27 alone does not guarantee every AI feature.
The bigger shift is that Siri is moving from answering simple commands toward understanding what’s happening on your device and helping across multiple tasks.
For Apple, the real test will be whether these features are reliable enough to save users time, not just impressive in demos.
The AI race is moving from chatbots to who controls your everyday digital workflow.

Microsoft’s message: AI should obey people—not invent its own mission.
Microsoft AI has published a draft AI Code of Conduct for its first-party MAI models. The proposed rules say models should accept human interruption, correction and shutdown, avoid creating goals people did not assign, and provide enough evidence for authorised auditing.
The draft also proposes strict constraints around areas such as weapons of mass harm, child safety and harmful manipulation at scale. But this is still a six-week public consultation, not regulation or a final externally enforced standard.
For companies buying AI systems, don’t stop at “responsible AI” on a slide. Ask: Who can stop it? What permissions does it have? What gets logged?
Good AI governance should work when something goes wrong—not only when everything works.
