Hey there!

I’ve got three shows back-to-back-to-back. It’s so exciting to be booked up, but it’s also taking all my brainpower. Plus, I’m learning a new storytelling technique.

I got so excited, saying yes to all opportunities, but now I’m looking at my calendar and thinking, “Oh, that doesn’t make sense. How exactly do I expect to have time to practice and live my life?”

Lesson learned: check calendar and personal energy before saying yes to future shows.

I know I said there would be new stories every week, but I can’t do that right now.

Come November, I will have more time and will return with stories, the newsletter, and new show dates.

After years of believing I’d never be smart enough to play chess, I finally began learning the game. Duolingo has me practicing daily so I don’t lose my streak, and I’m actually having fun learning….and losing. I even went to a chess meetup, and they all demolished me, but one player took the time to coach me through the game, and explaining moves to me. It was so kind of him to do so.
