As somebody who did video game development class in high school, I CAN CONFIRM, that the new Pokémon game does in fact look like it was made by high schoolers in Unreal Engine with models made in 3ds Max


Fun fact: 3ds Max was is Scott Cawthon’s favorite modeling software. He’s a man of habit, and used it for all his old Christian animations as well as the entire FNaF franchise
