Mr TARDIS

I'm wanting to guage the community for this.

When we think of "Post Regeneration" episodes of 'Doctor Who' ('Robot', 'The Eleventh Hour' etc), would you consider 'The Giggle' to be "Post Regeneration" in spirit, or just in technicality?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments, because I'm curious as to whether or not it actually counts.

🚨 STEELBOOK GIVEAWAY🚨

In case you missed it, my latest video was me explaining my Steelbook hyper-fixation. If you buy all the 'Doctor Who' Boxsets, you'll still be missing two big episodes of the show; 'Twice Upon A Time' and 'Resolution of the Daleks'. If you want these episodes on home media, you have to buy them separately.

So I decided to remedy this by commissioning artists and a Steelbook printer to fill these gaps in my collection (pictured below). And the best part? I've got spares that I'm giving away.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning these extremely limited Steelbooks, then be sure to check out my latest video to learn more!

🚨 NEW VIDEO IN REPLIES🚨

As I'm sure you're already aware, I love Steelbooks. However, despite 'Doctor Who' fan being spoilt for years with gorgeous releases, there's been a consistent problem with them; some key episodes are missing from the boxsets.

Namely, 'Twice Upon A Time' and 'Revolution of the Daleks' do not appear on any boxset or Steelbook...until now.

To learn more, check out my latest video and if you want to be in with a chance of winning a copy of these exclusive Steelbooks, make sure you stick around until the end to learn how.

🚨 NEW VIDEO IN REPLIES🚨

#DoctorWho is in its most precarious position since it came back in 2005...on the TV side.

The expanded universe, however, is currently undergoing a once-in-a-generation shift that could ensure the continued longevity of the show, as long as the BBC and Bad Wolf seize the opportunity.

Folks, this is not a drill.

2 Missing Episodes of 'Doctor Who' from the 1960s have been found.

Episode 1 and Episode 3 of 'The Daleks Master Plan' (episodes titled 'The Nightmare Begins' and 'Devil's Planet') written by Terry Nation were found amongst an extensive private collection, as the anonymous owner has recently passed away.

The Leicester charity Film Is Fabulous are the group primarily behind the preservation and archiving of the collection. Peter Purves, who played companion Steven Taylor in the serial has seen the episodes and said "my flabber has never been so gasted".

While it's way too early to discuss home media releases of the episodes, the BBC has confirmed that the 2 episodes will be added to the BBC iPlayer this Easter.

I am shook.

Hey, folks! Just a quick update to explain why I've been so quiet this month!

If you watched my last Update Video, you’ll know that my plan moving forward was to move full-time to video production, catch up with the Big Finish back-catalogue and get a regular release schedule. While this is still absolutely the plan…I was offered a full-time TV job the day before that update video went live and I'll be on that until mid-April.

Obviously, I'm happy and grateful to be working in the industry during this quiet time, it does mean that full-time video production isn't happening at the moment. I'm currently filming 5-6 days a week, doing 12-14 hour days while still working around other life commitments, so I hope you understand why there haven't been many videos.

However, I have almost caught up with the Big Finish back catalogue. I've got lots of reviews recorded, I just haven't managed to get them edited and uploaded yet, but the gap is finally narrowing!

I'm also using what little free time I have to write and start planning more upcoming video projects so hopefully I can hit the ground running once this TV job ends (unless I fall right into another one, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it).

I'm sorry for the lack of communication and thankfully there hasn't been any major ‘Doctor Who’ news or announcements during this period other than the TV Movie 4K remaster and the regular rumours of new showrunners or streaming partners.

But anyway, I hope you've all been well and i’ll see you all soon!

P.S. If you're in the UK, check out ‘Small Prophets’ on the BBC. All 6 episodes from Writer/Director Mackenzie Crook are on the iPlayer and it's wonderful TV.

"He's back! And it's about time!"

30 years after the original broadcast and using the original master film footage, the 1996 TV Movie has been rescanned and is being released in 4K.

Over two years in the making, this Steelbook and Blu-Ray is due to release later this year and is available to pre-order now from Amazon, Zavvi and HMV.

I do have a Zavvi affiliate link if you're interested and want to help support my work; www.zavvi.com/referrals.list?applyCode=WILLIAM-R1B…
