Dive into the deep and complex world of BBC's 'Doctor Who' with Mr. TARDIS. All of time and space ready for exploration with in-depth video essays, reviews, trivia, un-boxings and more!
The fact that Bad Wolf/RTD stayed completely silent when the tabloids were spreading these rumours, completely negelecting their duty of care to their co-lead, I think will go down as a definitive low-point of this era of 'Doctor Who' when all is said and done.
Sorry for how quiet the channel has been over the past month. If you've watched any of the recent Big Finish reviews you'll know that I've been living the hotel lifestyle! I've been away from home on a big TV job (though I am NDA'd so I cannot elaborate) so I don't have the time or the setting to record videos at the moment.
I've been catching up on video writing but it will take time for these projects to start up again as I'm currently booked for more TV work in September.
However, I did manage to get a day off to attend Whooverville 16 in Derby and I had a brilliant time! Not only did I get to meet Jo Martin and Friend-of-the-Channel Jacqueline King but I also managed to get some brilliant books, prints and autographs. The Jo Martin talk (available on YouTube) was a highlight of the day.
Thanks to everyone who was so friendly and kind at the event! Whooverville is always such a welcoming convention but it felt like I was constantly bumping into MrTARDIS fans for selfies and autographs which is always humbling. I was stopped on 5 separate occasions to talk about my "Touch Grass" video. I truly live the most surreal life and I'm so appreciative of all of you!
Reviews, unboxings and vlogs coming soon once I've finished my "Alan Partridge Era" at the hotel. Thank you for your patience and I'll be seeing you folks soon!
After a 6-week trial, it is being reported that Noel Clarke has LOST his Libel Case against The Guardian.
A Judge has ruled that Mr. Clarke “was not a credible or reliable witness”. They also found that the reporting from The Guardian by journalists Sirin Kale and Lucy Osborne in their 2021 article 'Sexual predator: actor Noel Clarke accused of groping, harassment and bullying by 20 women' (along with 7 subsequent follow-up articles) “were found to be substantially true”.
'Doctor Who' has earned its first television Emmy Nomination. For the 77th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards to be awared this September, 'Doctor Who: The Devil's Chord' has been nominated in the "Outstanding Choreography For Scripted Programming" Category for its "There's Always A Twist" Sequence, Choreographed by Jack Murphy (who is nominated twice in this category).
Other Nominees include;
- Netflix's 'Bridgerton': Butterfly Ball / Eros And Psyche / Jealousy / Wedding Dance / Rejoining The Ton - Choreographed by Jack Murphy (who also choreographed the dances in 'Doctor Who: Rogue')
- Amazon's 'Étoile': Piece 2 / Growing Pressure / Big In Japan / Piece 1 - Choreographed by Marguerite Derricks
- Apple TV's 'Severance': Choreography & Merriment / The Ballad Of Ambrose And Gunnel - Choreographed by Andrew Turteltaub
- ABC's 'Will Trent': Last Dance / In The Night / Quartet No. 5 / I Can’t Stand The Rain - Choreographed by Danielle Sten and Lance Guillrmo
Overall, this is 'Doctor Who's second Emmy Nomination (as a franchise) after 2020's "Outstanding Derivative Interactive Program" for 'Doctor Who: The Runaway' VR Game.

Hey, folks! This is just a quick update that I'm typing out on a train to London for a media gig that I'm working on this week.
Firstly, I wanted to thank you folks for making June 2025 one of the best months this channel has ever had with nearly half a million views. I'm grateful to each and every one of you! It's especially mad because I've hardly uploaded anything in the past few weeks...
Unfortunately, because of my freelance TV/Film work over the past two weeks and going into this week, I've had to hit the brakes somewhat on the channel, however while I'm away, there's a bunch of scheduled uploads which amount to me making a large dent in the Big Finish Reviews back catalogue.
Also, while my time in London this week will mostly be spent on set, in my down-time I am hoping to finish a bunch of scripts for videos to record when I return. This includes the long awaited 'Empire of Death' review. Writing that review is like trying to untie the most comprehensive, poorly assembled Gordian's knot imaginable, which is partly why it's taken so long.
I've also got a bunch of other projects slowly coming together which are completely different to what I've done before and I hope you folks enjoy them when they arrive!
My next convention is Whooverville in Derby in August 2025, so hopefully I will see some of you folks there!
Who knows what's happening with 'Doctor Who' at the moment, but regardless of its immediate, the future of Mr TARDIS remains bright!
See you all on stream next week!

Interestingly, while the rumours suggest that Disney are no longer working on 'Doctor Who', today they did launch a "For Your Consideration" Campaign for the upcoming Emmys.
The Emmys honor the best in Primetime Television each year (broadcast between June 1st 2024 and May 31st 2025, which Season 2 would fall into).
While Disney may not campaign hard for 'Doctor Who', it is still a significant financial investment to run and push a "For Your Consideration" campaign, which seems like the definition of mixed messaging on Disney's part when it comes to the future of the show under them.
Previous winners of the "Outstanding Drama Series" category include 'Shogun', 'Succession: Seasons 2, 3 & 4' and 'The Crown: Season 4'.
'Doctor Who' has only ever been nominated for a single Emmy; 2020's "Outstanding Derivative Interactive Program" for 'Doctor Who: The Runaway' VR Game. It lost to Netflix's 'Big Mouth Guide to Life'.
The nominees will be announced on July 15th and the 77th Primetime Emmys will take place on September 14th 2025. Comedian Nate Bargatze will be hosting.
Raising money for BBC's Children In Need, Big Finish Productions are currently holding an online charity auction which is full of 'Doctor Who' items.
The lots on offer include rare collectibles and items signed by members of the 'Doctor Who' cast. You could even end up with your very own Big Finish knitted scarf!
There are 50 items, which include (pictured);
- Big Finish Front Scripts including 'The Silver Turk' (signed by Paul McGann, Julie Cox, Nicholas Briggs and more)
- 4th Doctor and Leela Photo Prints (signed by Tom Baker and Louise Jameson)
- A Collectable 13th Doctor TARDIS Console Figure (signed by Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill)
- Photo Print from Big Finish Original 'Vam PD' (signed by Juliet Landau, Mara Wilson, Alimi Ballard, Ursula Burton and Lizzie Worsdell)
- The Big Finish Knitted Scarf (lot includes Signed Big Finish Script Front chosen at random)
- and much more!
The money raised will go to BBC Children in Need, a charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. They provide vital life-changing support and opportunities for children living in poverty, and those struggling with social inequality, mental health and family-related issues.
