With this channel, I like to bring this great theme park community together by inviting other content creators on for livestreams and videos while also letting you interact and discuss!
As for a little bit about myself, my name is Carrick Gilgen and I am from Fresno, California. I of course am a coaster enthusiast but some of my other hobbies and interests are watching my Atlanta Falcons and traveling to other tourist destinations such as landmarks, cities, museums, zoos, and aquariums.

Channel Update:
A few items and trips, including one I will be going on soon have popped up recently. That is why you haven’t seen any content here on YouTube this month.
The plan is to have a stream in the second half of February which will be a recap to both my Las Vegas and upcoming trips!
In March (tentatively), I plan to do an exciting, first of its kind Coaster Time stream with a guest. I’m very excited to try this idea out and see if this is something I can do with more guests in the future!

I wanted to provide a channel update and let you all know that I will be taking a break from the channel until December, as I finish my final semester at Fresno State.
On Instagram, I'll still post on my stories and be sporadically active. If you want to ask me anything or chat, that will be the best place to reach me for now.
I will host a Coaster Time Live Stream in December, but even then, I am evaluating the future of the channel over the break. Ideally, I'll have an update by the stream.

Apologies for almost 2 months of inactivity on the channel but my semester work ramped up along with my job over the past few months. Fortunately, my semester just ended so I will be getting back into doing livestreams and putting out YouTube content!
Speaking of which I'm planning to go live tomorrow at 8 PM EST for a more chill Coaster Time episode consisting of Q&A, a quiz, and guess the coaster!
Since the last stream, I visited Gilroy Gardens and Happy Hollow Park & Zoo for the first time as an enthusiast and just completed a NorCal trip with @808CoasterLife where we were able to go to SFDK, SCBB, and CGA!
You can expect to see vlogs on Jayse's channel covering that trip in the near future and we will eventually do a live stream dedicated to talking about our trip.
With all of that being said I hope to see y'all at the stream tomorrow night and thanks for being patient over the last 2 months!

🕕Today Coaster Hour turns 5 years old!
🎢It’s been a fun, life-changing ride over the last 5 years as I have found a community to express my interest in roller coasters with. It has also been so cool to collaborate, and meet with many other enthusiasts and amusement industry professionals including some who have become close friends!
🙏Without you all I wouldn’t be creating content and I probably wouldn’t be pursuing a career within the amusement industry. So thanks to everyone here for making a profoundly positive impact on my life and for making a silly, niche hobby so fun!
