This weekend my friends and I went to the Ice Castles in Cripple Creek to do a winter shoot! It was bitterly cold, about 15 degrees, but the location was gorgeous and with smart dressing and warming stations, we managed to last about 2 hours.
I wore a Zhongli inspired winter look, which was largely purchased, but I did make the wig and accessories. It made for easy dressing under, and I stayed pretty warm!
Cripple Creek is a beautiful town. It was snowing on and off for the entirety of our visit, and the mountains in that part of the state are really beautiful.
Afterwards we had a post-shoot meal, as always, and it was so good. There's nothing like a little suffering to make lunch taste extra good...

A bit of bad news.
I've potentially lost all the footage from this piece. It's one of my favorite pieces I've ever made, and I was really proud of the in progress video.
Luckily it's a beautiful Friday, the sun is out, and I have many more projects to work on.
Hopefully I'll be able to recover the footage. If not, I'll be a bit sad. But what else can we do besides pick ourselves back up and move on to the next.
