I'm just a grandma who likes to bake and think about the world the grandkids will inherit. I'm political and a good cook. My baking is tips and tricks, I like to use packaged stuff and jazz it up. I also bake from scratch. I'm super worried about my rights as a citizen in the USA in this era, and I'm engaged in my small, rural community to fight for a better world.
From chili to cheesecake, and voting rights to immigration, I'm listening, reading, and asking questions.

I made a second batch today, and added a chopped pecan, chopped sugared ginger, and brown sugar topping instead of frosting. Stir, then add the topping before baking.
