Fancy a bit of festive storytelling? It’s that time of year again — the perfect moment to revisit our A Christmas Carol video from 2022. If you love Dickens, Scrooge, Marley’s chains and a bit of Christmas atmosphere, this one’s ideal for a quiet moment by the fire.
So go on — pop the kettle on, grab a mince pie, settle yourself down, and enjoy this Dickens’ classic tale told the old-fashioned way. Let me know in the comments which ghost gives you the most chills.

I’m honoured to be presenting a very special live event here in Saskatoon:
Faces of Courage: The Facemakers of WWI & the Guinea Pig Club of WWII

A spin-off to my recent video, this deeply moving talk explores the heroes behind the masks — the pioneering surgeons and patients who redefined courage and compassion. From the groundbreaking reconstructive work of Sir Harold Gillies and his team of “facemakers,” to the remarkable brotherhood of The Guinea Pig Club, this is a story of medical innovation, resilience, and hope rising from the horrors of war.

📅 Sunday, November 16th
🕒 3:00 PM
📍 Nutana Legion, 3021 Louise St, Saskatoon
🎟 Tickets $20 – Book online: nutanalegion.com/store

🍺 Refreshments available

All proceeds support the Nutana Legion and the Saskatoon Museum of Military Artifacts. If you’re in or near Saskatoon, I’d love to see you there — it’s a story that truly honours those who rebuilt not just faces, but hope itself.

If you're not able to make it, we'll see what we can do to try to record the event.

Happy Halloween as they say here in the Americas!
We have a special upload for you today because last night I went LIVE at the Saskatoon Museum of Military Artifacts for a special Halloween event — Ghost Stories from the Battlefield.

It was an unforgettable evening of storytelling, history, and the supernatural — unfiltered, thought-provoking, and filled with moments that made the audience pause and reflect.

The Battle of Britain at 85.
Here's a video I made a few years back about one of the RAF’s finest hours — but also one of its darkest times.

This one’s personal: I filmed it in my local museum, the Saskatoon Museum of Military Artifacts in Canada, sharing the story of the“Battle of Britain,” and the moving account of a widow whose RAF pilot husband never came home.

Lest we forget.
