I started storm chasing in early December 2023 and started this YouTube channel in 2025, January. I have had a passion for storms and meteorology since 2019. ⚡️

I got the AusAlert test today - I’m assuming SEQLD will hear that sound at-least once every storm season 😬🤣
Cheers ⛈️☺️

Attention Australia! Tomorrow at 2pm AEST the government will be testing their new warning system. Ausalert is a new warning system to warn people about threats to life (severe weather, crime, and more). If you want to turn it off on an apple phone (I don’t know if it works the same on an android or other type of phone) go to the settings app, go to notifications, and scroll to the bottom. There you will see the Ausalert settings.

When you hear the alarm, DONT worry it is just a test. Thanks for reading, Cheers. ☺️⛈️🚨

Very cold temps are bringing widespread severe frost to inland NSW, ACT, and SEQLD. Some temps in NENSW reached the negative numbers last night and tomorrow morning temps of 0 and below could be possible in far south eastern Queensland and in many of the same areas affected this morning. Coastal areas should remain a little bit warmer.

HEADS UP: Frost is most likely around sunrise, especially in sheltered inland areas.

(Image one is Saturday morning and image two is Sunday morning.)

Stay warm. Cheers ☺️❄️

1 year ago today (July 23rd 2025)
Severe winter squall line bringing damaging straight line winds to south Brisbane. Last winter was very severe storm active - so far this winter hasn’t been but we will see if things change. Around 2 months till September (spring) now. Storm season is close! 😁⛈️

There is a hazardous road conditions warning in place for Brisbane this morning due to fog bringing low visibility. Id advise you all to drive slowly and safely this morning. Cheers ☺️

A severe weather warning is in place today for NENSW and SEQLD for damaging winds and hazardous surf. Isolated wind gusts for areas could reach 70-80km/h with more widespread gusts of 60km/h. Some showers are also expected to persist through today. Winds and rain will peak in the afternoon between 12 and 4. Thanks for reading, tie down any loose items if you think necessary, Cheers. 🌧️☺️

SEQLD and NENSW can expect some widespread rainfall in the coming days with on and off showers. Some good falls are coming into SEQLD and NENSW right now. Some lighting is also possible, mainly offshore. Flooding may occur if rainfall continues falling however it won’t be very severe. Some damaging wind gusts and surf conditions may move into SEQLD and NENSW later this weekend in the wake of this system. Thanks for reading, stay safe. If it’s flooded FORGET IT. Cheers ☺️⛈️

Hi guys! I'm planning on making some changes to the channel this storm season. First step I'm taking towards that is changing my thumbnail style to be cleaner and more clickable while not being clickbait. Which style of thumbnails do you prefer/would you click on?

(These are just examples)

I know it’s very late 😬 sorry for the late night post. 🤣 Some rainfall is on the way for SEQLD and NENSW in the coming weekend. Friday will be the peak rainfall day but there will be on and off showers on Saturday and Sunday too. After this weekend, there will be a strong cool change for SEQLD and temperatures will drop quickly due to a west south westerly wind. Enjoy the rain and cool change. These falls won’t be anything notable for Brisbane but it’s still worth posting about as rainfall can ruin some plans. Thanks for reading, cheers 🍻🌧️
