I’m not an expert but - washing twice/week sounds normal to me, and so does trimming (I trim once a year).

What sticks out - “everyone else’s hair is growing at lighting speed”.
Sounds like you’re already where you need to be on ur journey. The only reason you’d feel behind or ahead is if you’re comparing with others. Go at your pace, trust your process 🤎
