hi! after thinking about this for a looooong time, i've decided i'm going to quit youtube. there are several reasons why, but it boils down to youtube has started to feel less like hobby and more like a chore.

as you may have noticed, i've rarely been posting as of late. once, MAYBE twice a month if i'm lucky. it takes me a very long time to make edits because i just don't have the motivation to. and then when i finally do and post it, it gets its 15 minutes of fame, and then that's it, immediately onto the next edit. i'm even using the word "fame" loosely, because all my edits have been flopping. so it's kind of like, who am i doing this for?

HOWEVER!! with that being said, i'm not going offline permanently. i love my online friends, and i don't want to leave y'all. if we talk on a different app (pin, chat, discord, whatever it may be), i'll still be there. i'll still be on youtube too, but i'm moving channels. i'm probably going to log out of this channel permanently, so i'll only be on ‪@cqsmicwritings‬. i'm going to regularly be active and occasionally post content, so if you don't want to say goodbye, go over there!
