Hi all ❤️ I just wanted to give you a little health update and explain something you may notice in my upcoming videos.

A couple of weeks ago I had surgery to remove a skin lesion from my face. I genuinely expected it to be a fairly straightforward recovery, but unfortunately I developed a post-operative infection, which led to multiple hospital visits, antibiotics and a much longer recovery than anyone anticipated. It also caused temporary weakness affecting one side of my smile, which has been a little unsettling for someone who smiles as much as I do!

The good news is that we believe I am now on the mend. I will be wearing a dressing for some time to come, but we're hopeful I am finally moving in the right direction and I'm determined to get back to normal.

The videos you've been watching over the past few weeks have all been pre-recorded from before my surgery. My hope is to get back in front of the camera very soon, in fact I’m hoping I can try again tomorrow. If I do, you may notice I'm a little less expressive than usual. Although I’ve now been given the green light to smile, eat and use my face normally again, after weeks of instinctively guarding the wound, it's going to take some time for me to relax and feel like myself again.

I just wanted to update you all and say thank you all so much for being here - I'm really looking forward to getting back to doing what I love and sharing more music with you very soon

I wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has recently joined me here, and also to those who have been following along for years. It genuinely means so much to have you here ❤️

For those who don’t know me yet, I’m Nina, a singer-songwriter, vocal coach, and creator of my reaction channel where I analyse and celebrate incredible performances from artists around the world.

Music has taken me on the most unexpected journey. Writing songs in particular has opened doors I never could have imagined… from appearing on a BBC show with my song “The Gift”, to performing at incredible venues and events including the Montreux Jazz Festival, to coaching singers and watching them grow and find their own voices.

I started my reaction channel as another way to share my love of music, breaking down vocals, songwriting, and performances while celebrating the artists who inspire me. It has been amazing to connect with so many people through music and discover so many talented artists along the way.

This past year, I also released a new EP called FRACTIONS, and I’d love for you to have a listen if you enjoy my music. 🎶

Thank you again for being here, whether you’ve just found me or you’ve been part of the journey for a long time. I’m so excited for what’s ahead and I’m incredibly grateful to have you here! ✨
