Whatup you inbreds, it's me the Don here with your update post that happens every 6 month.
Just wanted to thank everyone for the lovely comments on the last two vids. It's generic to say, but it does go a long way. Part 2 was definitely a huge rush to get done to meet a deadline so naturally there are some mistakes here and there and even a scene that had to get cut :( This has caused me to feel way less proud of that video in particular which is a damn shame, but the positive comments towards it has def helped make me feel better. I'm hoping maybe sometime down the road to make like a directors cut of the project with parts 1 and 2 combined and maybe release like a definitive "Mario 64 Nuzlocke: The Movie" type shit. Idk if you'd be into that lemme know.
However, with all this being said. I really thought about the state of the channel and how a lot of my projects have been big rushes to meet sponsorship deadlines and I've decided that I wanna take things slower for a bit. The first Mario 64 Nuzlocke vid was the first vid in awhile that didn't have any deadline on it and it was the most proud and free I've ever felt while working on a project. This grind has also been having a horrible effect on my health- I took a look at myself in the mirror and realized "maybe I shouldn't die over a fucking Kirby video."
I think I feel this constant pressure to try and do more more more- comments telling me they want more videos, friends telling me that it would help my channel to make more- but in the end I think I feel way more fulfillment and make way better stuff when I can just take my time and give projects the proper time that they need. And I refuse to cut back on videos for the sake of making more- there's enough videos doing that on the platform, I wanna make something great. My upload schedule will still roughly be around once a month, but there will definitely be some times where it's a month and some change just to polish things or ensure that I don't die. And then hopefully as time goes on, I can focus on creating a better system for production and then get back onto a solid once a month schedule and then maybe even more than that.
I wanna make more videos like the Mario 64 Nuzlocke, and less like the Sonic racing one if that makes sense (no disrespect to that vid, but I think it's some like B Tier Dontent). I want ideas to get fully realized and most importantly just make the best shit that I can. I wanna keep streams and shorts consistent instead of dropping them at the end of every month because I'm trapped in the editing gulag. I wanna get better at writing- I think I still have a long way to go in telling stories and character writing but I can feel myself getting better and I wanna enjoy that process. And most importantly, I wanna make vids where I'm proud of them- like I can go up to anyone and be like "watch this shit this is the most fire fucking shit of all time".
Got a lot of stuff planned for this year: next vid is gonna be the Kirby Air Riders 100%, I'm making a sequel to the Worst Kirby Copy Abilities vid, doin an Air Riders Nuzlocke, and I'm even thinkin about ending the year with a Subspace Emissary Nuzlocke. And I want none of these to be rushed and to be the best movies they possibly can be.

Thanks to anyone who peeped the last vid, it's one of my favorites and the comments on it were some of the best I've ever received on a project :) I've been feeling very down lately in terms of my creative output and feeling a bit lost so the words of encouragement that I received meant a lot. To anyone pissing and shitting about Part 2 of Color Splash it'll be coming out at the end of July. I'm hoping to make a channel soon to upload Stream VODS as well as other miscellaneous stuff (like instead of member streams maybe I'll put directors commentary on that joint). Idk how soon that'll be cuz my workflow tends to be whatever I'm fixated on in that moments so we'll see. Streams should also resume as normal in the coming days (maybe even tonight if I'm just chillin).
OH ALSO, I did that feature where people can post on this community tab so that's new as well. Idk how it works, but if someone does they can have at it lmao

- I think moving forward, imma unlist streams after doing them unless they're like epic big boys. Unless you guys hate that idea then I'm susceptible to not do that- it's just I don't wanna flood the sub boxes, and would like to save that for the big boy uploads. There will still be unlisted in playlists that you can find on my Home page near the bottom :)
- Hope you liked the last vid! Definitely a way more experimental project and one made more out of passion. The reason why I had posted it initially, then took it down, and then reposted it was because I accidentally put the sponsor segment in the wrong spot. So if anyone is trying to make a crazy conspiracy theory regarding my video being taken down having to do with the drug problem in America... you keep theorizing you're onto something lowkey.
-Also I updated the "MUSIC USED" section in the description of the last vid. Sorry it took a lil' bit, it turns out when you do Youtube full time there is A LOT of stuff you gotta manage so I be falling behind on certain stuff.
-Yes I will do a Pikmin 4 randomizer, I am actually currently doing it on stream. I'm only saying this cuz people always ask even when I'm literally doing it lol

I've been inconsistent with stuff lately cuz I spent this month back at home in Jersey just enjoying time with family. After the 11th tho I'll be back in LA and streams and stuff will continue again as normal. Hoping to do some members streams where I do a director's commentary of the last two vids so that should be fun.
This year I hope to just get more organized and make every upload feel less like a massive crunch to get done, but most importantly I wanna keep doing what I've been doing. I deadass got the greatest comment section in the world when it comes to my videos and I appreciate all the extremely positive stuff that I get fr. Next vid coming should be the other part of the Kirby Air Ride vid, and of course I plan on continuing other series like the Weird Battle Style Nuzlockes and Pikmin Randomized in the next coming months.
