This PNW Native Spiraea douglasii (Rose Spirea) may look like the invasive butterfly bush but it isn’t. Part of the Rose family, this native is essential for our pollinators!!
Choose this instead of the invasive butterfly bushes if you live where this plant is native.
(please don’t forget we have native plants that are more beneficial and more spectacular than the non native varieties sold at nurseries)
