Pale skin doesn’t = cool skin.

This is a myth in beauty and colour analysis.

I was told this myth growing up and, as a result, bought clothing wildly outside of my colouring.

Because of it?

🌈 I always had to wear more makeup because I felt washed out.
🌈 Wondered why the colours I was attracted to weren’t for me.
🌈 Didn’t feel my personality aligned with these softer, cooler colours.
🌈 felt invisible.
🌈 energetically drained (because the right colours are scientifically proven to boost our energy).

The truth is pale skin, like any skin tone, can be warm, neutral, or cool.

After going through my colour training, to my shock, I discovered I had a warm undertone.

"take one thing off before you leave the house."
"no white after labour day"
"don't mix ____ and ____ colour together"
"only wear neutrals!"
"You need a striped shirt in your wardrobe!"
"All your red lipstick should be cool-toned for white teeth!"
"You MUST get the Adidas sambas this season."
"Highlight your waist!"

All of these are generic, BS rules that don't factor in the person, their lifestyle, body, energy, goals, or colouring. They'll only ever lead to confusion and lost identity.

Learn style like any other skill to find what works for YOU and will amplify your magic, brand and how you want to show up. Once you have the tools you need, you can personalize and use them to create the woman you want to be on your OWN terms.
