SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE: Hi everyone, a special opportunity came up and Sig Sauer will be flying me out for a one-on-one meeting to discuss all things Sig Sauer with their senior engineers tomorrow!
That being said I have prepared many questions to ask these engineers, both out of sheer curiosity, as well as in the hopes of answering questions I know are pending within this community about the P320. Overall, I am hoping to not just ask questions to gain knowledge, but to take Sig Sauer’s responses back so I can independently test and show my work to you all in highly technical videos.
Keep in mind that although I firmly believe (through testing and experience), that there are no inherent problems with the P320, I am here as a representative of the Sig Community NOT Sig Sauer, therefore, I want to hear from you guys so we can together, clear up misunderstandings or possibly prove a theory!
HERE’S WHERE I NEED THIS COMMUNITY’S HELP:
1. Respond to this YouTube Community Post directly with your technical or general questions, theories or reservations about the P320 claims so I can present them to the engineers.
2. Post your questions in the form of a question (write as if you’re asking the question yourself. This will help keep questions concise and “to the point”.
3. Try to eliminate any opinions (unless it will help to expand your theory).
4. Don’t worry about offending anyone. As long as your question is out of curiosity and is respectful, there’s no reason to “hold back”.
5. Be respectful in your question, I know discussions about certain topics can be heated, but we’re here as a community to help each other learn.
6. Remember that this is an opportunity for all things Sig related. You don’t have to specifically talk about topics like “un-commanded discharges”, if you have something interesting to learn, just ask! (Keep in mind the engineers may not be able to respond to “corporate decision” type questions so I’d stick to technical ones).
I know this is short notice, but I hope I’ll get some good questions by tomorrow. Thank you all for taking the time to grow this community and for working with me to better understand your Sig, in order to better enjoy your Sig
Talk soon!

Over several months I've been quietly working on developing the Sig Mechanics Over-Engineered Parts project. It's goal is to leverage my associations in manufacturing to create the absolute highest quality parts for the Sig Community (at a price point that respects those that support it), and I personally endeavour to make this the foundation of the OE Parts project.
The new Sig Mechanics Tungsten Heavy Alloy Guide Rods for the P320, are an example of what this project aims to create. Designed to my specifications, using high-grade, specialty selected, US sourced, tungsten heavy alloy. These guide rods are precision ground to extremely tight tolerances, and finished with a smooth, glass-like surface that holds a significant 65+ HRC (hardness rating). Essentially, this OE Part (as the name suggests), is WAY over-engineered for its intended use, but is therefore guaranteed to withstand a lifetime of use and abuse, at a price you won't find anywhere else. (Available for the X5 | X-Ten and Full Size P320)

New arrival on the Sig Mechanics webstore! I recently added these "enhanced" housing roll pins for your P320 FCU, a direct replacement for the factory 1301341-R, except these pins are WAY over-engineered for their intended use. They're heavy duty, hardened, chromium, stainless steel pins with a hardness rating of 53. The pins themselves are substantially higher quality than the factory pins, but now you can get 3 for less than you can find 1 factory pin! Find them at www.sigmech.store. - More "over-engineered" small parts incoming soon!

The result of a recent collaboration with The Sig Armorer, where I was able to help re-design and manufacture the all new V2 of his coveted P320 Access Tool. In this iteration however, we added a takedown for the P365, and gave the tool an all new premium gold on white finish.
Not only am I extremely happy with the outcome, but more than that, it was an honor to work closely with the world renowned Robert Burke to make this happen... Coming Soon!

In less than a year, this channel has grown (once again) and now sits at 3000 subscribers! Not that these metrics mean much, but it shows me that this community is happy with what this channel has been doing, and I promise to continue building this channel until it becomes the single best information source for Sig Sauer firearms.
Thank you all once again for the amazing support. See you at the one year mark!

Post-Upgrade Update! Received my P320 frame back from MD Charlton. Here are some close up images of the machining Sig Sauer does as part of their Voluntary Upgrade Program. You can see the tool marks on top where they removed the tab, and at the base where they create additional room for the trigger bar. Skip to 20:20 on this video to see how a pre vs. post frame will look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vmwpk...

Thanks to your input, today I am announcing...SIG MECHANICS - SHORTCUTS.
These will be straight to-the-point videos and shortened clips made from longer videos found on the Sig Mechanics channel. Long form videos will remain the standard type of content uploaded to Sig Mechanics, and “shortcuts” will now be used when information does not warrant a long explanation or can be condensed. However, I understood that making 60 second YouTube #shorts would limit my ability to provide quality and clarity, therefore, "Shortcuts" are not #shorts, they are videos that are fast paced and long enough to maintain quality of information, but short enough to follow along "on the go".
Now, you can search topics like “P320 striker sticks out of breech face” or "P320 - How to remove trigger" and find the shortcut that you need. Those videos will have a distinct thumbnail and logo to visually separate “Shortcuts” from regular content while searching. (You can see what I mean as I already posted the first Sig Mechanics - Shortcuts videos!)
Lastly, the Sig Mechanics channel was created for YOU, the community that has helped me learn and grow. So, with this in mind and to provide the best videos I can, I would like to hear your input. If you have an idea for either a standard or shortcuts video, send me a message! I read all your comments and am always looking to improve the channel.
Thanks again for your insight and for helping to grow this channel! I have a lot of new videos being worked on and I can't wait to share them all with you!
**Note: Sig Mechanics “shortcuts” won’t trigger a notification to your YouTube feed as I don't want to bombard subscribers with all the Shortcuts content while I start to uploaded them over the next few weeks. You will however get notified when a regular Sig Mechanics video is uploaded (If notifications are turned on).**

Looking for subscriber input! Due to the length and details of the videos Sig Mechanics makes, I am considering breaking out video content into what I will call "Sig Mechanics Shortcuts". Where I'll part out the long instructional videos to only show very quick (~60 second) "shorts" that are easier to follow when you're in a rush.
Would this community be interested in this? If yes, would you want to see this on the official "Sig Mechanics" channel or a separate channel called "Sig Mechanics Shortcuts"?
***(Note: There is no way to separate shorts from regular videos, they all display together on any given channel)***
