Solo kolkata to Uttarakhand/Himachal Ride Day2

The distance from Sasaram to Lucknow via Purbanchal Expressway is approximately 290 km. If you're planning to travel by bike, it would take around 6-7 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions.

Here's a possible route you can take:
1. Head east on NH-30 towards Dehri On Sone
2. Take the Purvanchal Expressway from the Dehri On Sone Interchange
3. Continue on the Expressway and take the exit towards NH230/NH330/Lucknow from the Gorakhnath Interchange
4. Merge onto NH230/NH330 and continue on until you reach Lucknow.

It's always a good idea to check the weather and traffic conditions before starting your journey and to make sure that your bike is in good condition. Additionally, it's important to follow all traffic rules and wear appropriate safety gear while riding.

If you plan to travel by bike from Kolkata to Sasaram via Topchachi Lake, here are some suggestions:

1. First, plan your route carefully and make sure you have a good map or GPS device to guide you. You can use Google Maps or other GPS navigation apps to help you plan your route.

2. Start early in the morning and carry enough water and snacks for the journey. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and safety gear, such as a helmet and reflective clothing.

3. From Kolkata, head northwest towards the NH19 highway and continue on this highway until you reach the city of Asansol. From Asansol, take the SH7 towards Chittaranjan and then onto SH5 towards Topchachi.

4. Once you reach Topchachi, take some time to explore the scenic Topchachi Lake. This beautiful lake is surrounded by lush green forests and is a popular spot for water sports such as boating and fishing.

5. From Topchachi, continue on SH5 until you reach the city of Dehri-on-Sone. From there, take the NH2 towards Sasaram.

6. Along the way, you will pass through many small towns and villages, so be sure to take regular breaks to rest and stretch your legs.

7. Finally, when you reach Sasaram, you can explore the city's famous historical sites such as the Rohtas Fort and the Tomb of Sher Shah Suri.
