Our senior dog Bear is a loner. 😂 He really doesn’t want anybody near him but us.
But every single day, he’s surrounded by a flock of chickens who feel completely safe around him and Bear lets them be comfortable.
Because even though he’s a loner… he’s kind. 💛

Homestead Highlight: Ivory the Tool Thief 😂
Our LGD Ivory is a THIEF. If she can carry it, she’ll take it — tools, screws, supplies… and then she HIDES them. 🤦🏽♀️
I told the guys, “While y’all are working, watch your tools and supplies because Ivory WILL take them.”
Well… for the last 3 days, Mr. Genesis has been looking for these pieces so he could finish assembling the goat house door.

From seed… to SPONGE! 🌱➡️🧽
Y’all, I am WAY too excited about this 😂 I grew luffa for the very first time this year, and I finally got to harvest my first one!
Watching this thing go from a tiny seed, to a huge vine, to an actual sponge is WILD. 🤯🌿
And look at all those seeds! 👀 One luffa gave me 120 seeds for next season!
I think it’s safe to say… I’ll be growing luffa again. 😂💚

Someone asked me “what got you into gardening?”
I kid you not.. My husband planted the seed, and The Most High opened my eyes to what was already within me. 🙌🏾 The purpose was there all along—I just needed to LISTEN.
