5 YEARS OF US ❤️ | 11 September

Five years ago, we said “I do.” Today, we look back and see a journey filled with love, laughter, prayers, challenges and God's amazing grace.

God blessed us with our two beautiful princesses, Divine Chinasa and Michelle Uchechukwu, and recently blessed us with another precious gift, our little Miracle Mmesomachi Asogwa. 🕊️

Although her time with us was painfully short, her life will forever remain a beautiful part of our family story.

This anniversary is not easy. We are celebrating our love while carrying a pain that words cannot explain.

My husband, through every season—joy, fear, tears, hope and heartbreak—thank you for standing beside me. ❤️

Happy 5th Wedding Anniversary to us.

Lord, please strengthen our marriage, protect our daughters, heal our broken hearts and give us the grace to trust You even when we don't understand Your plans.

You gave us Miracle, and You called her home. We may never understand why, but we choose to believe that You remain faithful.

Until we meet our Miracle again. 🕊️❤️

My beloved daughter, Miracle Mmesomachi Asogwa, how do I say goodbye to you when my heart is still waiting to hear your cry? 😭💔

Daddy and Mummy love you so much. Your sisters love you dearly. We wanted you here with us. We fought for you, prayed for you, cried for you, and did everything within our strength to make sure you stayed.

I carried you for 9 long months. I went through the pain, stress, frustration, fear and anxiety that came with the journey. I endured 18 hours of induced labour, hoping and believing that at the end of it all, I would hold you in my arms.

Even after surgery, when you came back to life, we thought our miracle had finally arrived. We held onto hope. We believed you were going to stay. We prayed with everything in us.

But today, I am left asking, “God, why?” 😭

What more can I say when there are no words enough to explain this pain? If there is one thing I must hold onto, it is this: my God knows better than I do. His ways are not my ways, and even through these tears, I choose to trust Him.

You came into our lives as a Miracle, and you will forever remain our Miracle. Your little life may have been brief, but the love you brought into our hearts will never die.

My precious baby, may your sweet and innocent soul rest peacefully in the loving arms of God. 🕊️🤍

Daddy and Mummy love you, Miracle.

We will miss you every single day.

After moving to Enugu, my uncle did everything he could to help me gain admission into Enugu State University. While waiting for my JAMB result and admission process, I got my very first job as a typist in a law firm.

My monthly salary was just ₦3,000, but I was grateful because every experience became a stepping stone. We prepared deeds of lease, tenancy agreements, land documentation, and other property-related legal documents. Looking back today, I can only smile because every stage of my journey made me stronger.
