An oc I’ve had since I was 19 that I never actually drew. His name is Duncan Sanders. He’s also one of the jocks in the story line that includes Carson Akemi daiki Yumi Brad Emilee and more! Carson Brad and the other guys call him “Ucan” because he’s very shy and doesn’t feel confident in his skills but the guys and his coach see how skilled he is and don’t understand why he doesn’t believe in himself. I used prismal coloured pencils to outline and Colour him.

I LOVE coloured pencils so much! It gives my art the aesthetic I’m going for. Coloured pencils is also much more relaxing and soothing for me. Oh and this is Akemi. This is a drawing depicting curiosity and uncertainty. Definitely something I’ve felt lately with my art where I’m feeling uncertain and as a result searching for low effort enjoyable and stress free ways draw post and still enjoy it without overwhelming myself.
Pretty sure you all can relate.
I find using coloured pencils and drawing what I’m able to and posting when I have the energy is much more doable and manageable for my well being. Not sure what it is about coloured pencils compared to regular pencils but I feel more calm enjoy them more and I am almost always happy with what I’ve created probably because it looks exactly how I pictured it in my head compared to using plain pencils, markers and inking. I encourage every one of you to also do what is manageable for you and to always be proud of what you made that day. This journey has its hard times too on top of the joy and love you have for art and those hard times allow you to listen to yourself and do what YOU want to do regardless if anyone else approves or not.

I have 59 ocs that I wrote down on paper this morning that’s not including the parents of my ocs and my ocs children.
I’m sure I’ll make more in the future. There’s so many howwww? XD
The ones you guys see often are my main ocs. I want to show you all of my ocs as well so you can get to know them! I’m excited!

The birthday short I made today-there will be more parts. Most of the characters I’ve drawn are sketches or just one drawing of the characters that hasn’t been updated as most of the drawings in the short aren’t updated. I’ll be posting all of them in different parts so I appreciate your patience! You’ll get a chance to see more ocs I haven’t shown yet.

This is from I think last year or 2024. I haven’t got to finish him yet but still; It makes me so happy to go through photos and sketchbooks and see my ocs coming to life over time. I can’t state enough how grateful I am of everyone here.
This guy is Matthew Yuki. He was my first ever oc that I made in 2005. I came up with a story for him and a character named Songhai I created in 2006 which was the same year I would draw them quite often and made Hillary part of the story line and Jace, Matthew’s younger brother in 2007.
Thank you guys for inspiring me to express myself. Allowing me the space to show all the characters I’ve created over the decades and many more to come I’m sure. I feel that bringing them to life has helped me process grief and heal the more that I draw them. All of them have their own traits that make them special. I’m sure you guys feel the same way.
Matthew loves comic books and wants to make his own someday.
