Please take a moment to remember Doug Drinkwater. He changed my life… you all should remember Doug, he was around often in the show, he was one of our first patrons and became a dear friend.
The truth is, he lent me 1000 dollars to cover boat yard and bottom paint costs when we were launching Dagon… We couldn’t have done it, literally, without his support. Hailly and I Sail now because Doug wanted the best for us. In the end he wouldn’t let me repay the final instalment.
When we launched, he treated us all to champagne and food, and when Maya and Aladino launched magic carpet 2 he sent me money to buy them champagne, not to mention the many other gifts and acts of service he did for Hailly and I…
