BEWARE OF SPOILERS if you still haven't watched the first 4 episodes!

So where do I begin...

This is a goat TV show in my opinion, it is the first ever TV show that I've binged watched about 10 years ago, it is the show that made "binge watch" a thing! It is the show that launched Netflix' s success and also launched the cast's careers...

I've already re-watched all 4 seasons, and the magic this show has is compared to none other

The suspense, the quick pace of the events unfolding before our eyes, the 80s vibes, the colors, the horror blended with humor, the acting, the smart script, the iconic one liners, the perfect casting and their on-screen chemistry together, the production design, the wardrobe, the wonderful use of practical effects... It all made the show's big success!

However so far this season, I felt like some of that magic was lost, I blame mostly on the mediocre script and CGI, I'll explain along the way...

Let's start with Holly, Neil Fischer is doing great as Holly, love her wardrobe and loved the iconic "breakfast!" scene, and her "fantasy land" scenes in the Creel house... However because the other twin actresses who were playing Holly were much younger in the previous seasons, and the Duffer Brothers haven't prepared us enough about Holly, we only saw so little of her, it felt like we were watching a whole new show, which was a bit underwhelming... Loved the scene with Karen and the wine, however not believable about how demogorgons are killing armed and equipped soldiers left and right with one hit but both Karen and Ted survived... Hope we will get answers and I'll be proven wrong

Also I didn't like the vibe of Hawkings being in lockdown and all the cracks sealed up, because at the end of season 4, we left the show at a very high peak cliffhanger, and now suddenly the hype had deflated, so something felt off... Hope we will also get answers in the upcoming episodes and I'd be proven wrong

Now the SCRIPT! VERY very mediocre compared to the previous reasons where not even a single word was meaningless yet iconic... But in these 4 episodes we got Will repeating "I feel him" we got useless use of the word "d***", meaningless lines like "he peed on it" and we got no memorable heart to heart conversation between 2 characters, and that diminished the performance of the actors and their chemistry together

Eleven and Hopper, what a great team up right? But their scenes were so meaningless and no line was memorable between them except the last few scenes when they reached the "lab"

Erica and Murray were the only characters that still gave us the taste of the previous seasons as their characters still delivered... The pie scene was definitely a hit! And I love the way they "home-aloned" that one demogorgon no matter how silly it was

Now... The CGI, for me personally, ruined the taste of the show... In the previous seasons we are used to seeing practical effects, demogorgons were people dressed in suits and makeup, fight scenes and booby traps were also heavily based on practical effects

And Vecna... Very cartoon-ish and not scary at all, while in season 4, Jamie was able to fully portray Vecna's horrific tone and stare and movements and walk... Most of that disappeared by choosing to make Vecna a CGI character... I get that they had to use some CGI as Vecna had endured being burned and thrown out a house but still it was too much CGI to digest

Will... The only good scene about Will was the ending scene of course... Let's not forget the oscar-grade acting performance this kid has given up in season 2! His acting in complete shadow due to the script this season... Glad at least the scene happened where he became "Will The Sorcerer" finally so it redeemed his character and I'm looking forward to what he will do next!

Another note, no scene was also terrifying enough these 4 episodes, we didn't truly fear for our beloved characters (sure this might change in the next episodes) but I was expecting a bit more gore...

Overall as you can see I was disappointed by these 4 episodes

However I still have faith in the Duffer Brothers and hopefully they will close the chapter in a great manner 🙏🏻

So far my IMDb rating for season 5 is: 6/10

Hope the rating will change for the better when I finally see the entire season, see you again until then 🍿

I watched Limitless Season 2 with Chris Hemsworth and my only complaint is that it was too short 😭

Loved all the 3 episodes especially the first one where Chris learns how to play drums and performs during a sold-out Ed Sheeran concert in Budapest, Romania... We already knew about this episode as Chris had promoted it on his page before, and I was worried that it was gonna be boring compared to the action stuff we're used to seeing him do and on the contrary it was soooo entertaining, educating and inspiring 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

And I gotta say the drums suit him so well 😎🥁

Learning how to play an instrument is truly a blessing for your brain, each of us should learn how to play at least one instrument that speaks to us, personally I love acoustic guitars, I started after the age of 20 which is not easy, and I've been slacking, I will definitely put more effort in learning it after watching Chris 👍🏻

Chris should do more and more documentaries, whether it's narrating it, or bringing guests over or him actually doing the exploring and trying on new challenges, it all suits him so well 💞

🔥 The Last of Us S02E02 spoiler free review 👾

WHAT AN EPISODE!!!

I haven't played the video game and was blown away by season 1... And even though a couple of times some infected visited my nightmares, I still insist on watching this epic show 😂


S02E02 is easily comparable to "Game Of Thrones S08E03 The Long Night"... I would say The Last of Us even outdid them in terms of lighting (we could see everything that was going on in the chaos), in terms of action, battle strategies, story telling, character buildup, emotions, acting...


As scary as the infected are, this episode proves that the scariest beasts out there are still humans


The trauma Joel & Ellie both went through aren't because of the infected but mostly because of how horribly some characters treated them


Long story short, I flinched, yelled "NO!", gasped, cried, got shocked...


My imbd rating 10/10


Interested to see where the story will go after this...

I just watched Red One (2024)... Well actually... Couldn't even finish it 🙄


Already knew the reviews were bad but I still wanted to give it a shot since some of my favorite actors are in it 🤷🏻‍♀️


Chris Evans' comedic timing and charisma, and the fact that Santa is ripped are the only good things about the movie 🥶


Dwayne Johnson is incredibly boring in it, he's great to look at, incredible physique as always, smoldering gaze, other than that? Nothing... He could've done so much better creatively for such a role especially since he got a huge paycheck 😮‍💨


J.K. Simmons got ripped at this age for what? About 15 minutes of screen time? Would have loved to see him in more scenes 💪🏻


The CGI... Horrible, the North Pole has never been uglier 🍭


The mythical creatures... Very unappealing and meaningless 🧝🏼‍♂️


The script... Super lazy 📝


The soundtrack... Almost non existent... For a Christmas movie, we'd expect to hear some of our favorite songs 🎄


The plot... Mediocre 🙈


My IMBD rating... 4/10


If you really wanna see it, just watch the trailer and save yourself some time ⏳

🦾 Transformers One Review 🤖

✨ BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR!!! ✨

There I said it, screw the box office numbers, please read to see why... 👊🏻


I wish that I could have seen it on the big screen with a surround sound system to have had the full experience but watching it at home was still enough for me to say this! 🔊


I've actually watched it in the midst of war in my country Lebanon where I'm from, while simultaneously hearing the aftershock of bombs and pausing to check the heartbreaking news... So the story hit differently 💔


I feel like NOW more than ever our world needs an Optimus Prime, a just and powerful leader who puts the well being of the country and its people before himself/herself, a leader who seeks peace and not war! A leader who would free us from deception and corruption! A leader who would even stand up against his own friends to do what's morally right! A leader with "optimism" to build a better and safer future for this generation and the next! 🌍🌎🌏


Every single cast member did an awesome job, it's like the casting agents gathered the best voices in the industry but also the most likeable actors! 🗣️


I absolutely love the evolution of the characters, especially Orion Pax and D-16... We get to truly witness every stage they go through until they become Optimus Prime and Megatron ... 🤜🏻🤛🏻


Chris Hemsworth nails his role, his American accent is impeccable, his charisma and leadership shine through as usual... I loved the little nods to Thor as well like the Axe and being "worthy"... And when he says "I am Optimus Prime" literal CHILLS! 🤩


Brian Tyree Henry kills it as Megatron, proves that he's not your average villain and when he says "Decepticons, Rise Up!" We automatically crave for more to this story 🥶


Also at this point Keegan-Michael Key = Bumblebee = Badassatron... I love how the actor is also a real life Transformers super fan, and as enthusiastic and talkative as B-127... perfect casting 😅


And Scarlett Johansson brings back some of the Black Widow energy we've dearly loved for years and holds the group together like the confident leader she is 💞


The script and story telling is very well balanced, between humor, moral lessons, speeches, pep talks, banter, the history of Transformers... ✍🏻


I'd even say we learn more about human psychology in Transformers One than Inside Out 2... We've all experienced a heartbreak at some point in our lives, and we learn the hard way that nothing stays the same, even friendships can "transform"... And how difficult but important it is for us to be true to ourselves and lead life with integrity and dignity! 🧠


The action scenes were so cool, the fight scenes so creative and the CGI amazing, even realistic at some points! Which is rare these days... Give the special effects crew every award possible! Best animation of the year! 🏆


The sound effects and soundtrack also help us transport into the Transformers world! And I already sing along to the credits song! 🎶


What also amazed me is how robots with limited facial movements were more humane than other animated characters, it's all thanks to the great writing and acting! Hats off! 🎩


The final part of the movie made me gasp, my eyes were locked to the screen, and I was in awe by what I was witnessing 😍


I also felt nostalgic watching this movie, I'm a 90s kid and this movie took me right back to when animation movies were more about story telling and family than over hyping and marketing 🍿


To end my review, I wasn't even a major Transformers fan, I only enjoyed Shia Labeouf and Peter Cullen's versions, but Transformers One exceeded all my expectations and now I am fully invested in Transformers Two... 👊🏻😉

"Transformers One" is OUT in theatres tomorrow!!!

Wasn't hyped in the beginning when I saw the trailer as I thought the graphics were kiddish, cz I grew up with Shia Labeouf and Peter Cullen's Transformers

But the reviews look promising and the cast is absolutely lovable and well cast

So I'm definitely gonna see it on the big screen first chance I get 🍿

❤️ Deadpool & Wolverine (SPOILER review) 💛





First let's talk about the opening scene... The best opening scene in MCU history (sorry Peter Quill but Deadpool wins this dance-off 😉)... I loved how every fight move and dance move was on beat with the iconic NSYNC "Bye Bye Bye" song, Ryan Reynolds couldn't be more agile and charismatic... And Wolverine's skeleton was peak deadpool dark humour and a nice surprise element for the audience... Even in this scene they were a "team" 😅


Deadpool & Wolverine will also go down as one of the most iconic duos of all time... Like ketchup & mustard, Tom & Jerry, Thor & Loki, Salt & Pepper, Bonnie & Clyde, ... The dynamic between them, their love hate relationship, their hilarious brutal fight scenes were all a hit and so beautiful and hilarious to watch ❤️💛


Emma Corrin did great as Cassandra Nova, she was unique, disturbing and powerful 🧑🏻‍🦲


The soundtrack was as good as the iconic soundtrack of GOTG Vol. 1, absolutely love how beloved songs from the 80s and 90s are hits again 📼


Ryan Reynolds breaking the 4th wall is the best part of Deadpool and once again every line resonated with the audience, also love the easter eggs and lines here and there making fun of "Mad Max", "Furiosa", "Minions", "20th Fox Century", "The Proposal", "The Will Smith Oscars slap", ...🍿


Also I won't mind if Disney lets "Huge Jackedman" do this til he's 90 🤩


Dogpool absolutely won the audience's hearts and would love to see her more in a spin-off series similar to "I am Groot" 🥹


Chris Evans was the best surprise cameo in the movie... Absolutely love how he made a comeback as Human Torch and he lets it all out (a nice nod to "language!" from Age of Ultron) 🗣️


Dafne Keen's comeback was very heartwarming 😎


BUT...


Not every cameo was a hit... In fact I felt like we got more cameos and variants that we can chew... I agree with Ryan's line from the movie saying that we are tired of this MCU variants narrative... Once again Marvel relied heavily on surprise cameos and variants rather than a solid plot line...


At some points the movie became a salad of unnecessary characters that diminished the value of the movie... Also some scenes and lines became repetitive... And Channing Tatum's accent was super annoying 🙄


The ending was beautiful though, Deadpool & Wolverine holding hands and all 🫱🏻🫲🏻


Overall I've enjoyed it, I've never laughed so hard in a movie theater before, the entire audience was laughing and having a great time... However I noticed a couple of people leaving halfway not pleased with the movie and I kinda get why... 🤷🏻‍♀️


I hope Deadpool really is Marvel Jesus and resurrects the MCU and hope this movie is a turning point for Marvel, because in the past each MCU movie was connected to the other all pointing to Endgame... And we want the same for the upcoming Avengers movies 🙏🏻


My imbd rating is 7/10, actually 7.5 but can't score that on imbd 🎬

Am I the only one with mixed feelings about this?!

Glad the Russo Brothers are back but RDJ as Dr Doom?!

In my mind RDJ=Tony Stark=Iron Man... It's gonna be so weird seeing him as a different character...
Would've made more sense if RDJ played Superior Iron Man coming back to hunt the Avengers and Loki being the key hero to defeat him and oh the tables would've been turned from the first Avengers movie

I mean even in the iconic "Iron Man - Black Sabbath" songs it says:

"Now the time is here
For Iron Man to spread fear
Vengeance from the grave
Kills the people he once saved"
