Rumors and speculation are swirling around the possibility of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan making a shock return to Nigeria’s presidential race in 2027.
Would it be a smart political move?
After leaving office in 2015, Jonathan gained international respect as a symbol of peaceful democratic transition. He still commands a loyal base, especially in the South-South and parts of the Middle Belt.
