i am writing this in complete anguish and disarray. my hands are trembling and my spirit is fractured. for two glorious hours i ascended. i recorded what can only be described as the most legendary session of the abandoned ever. i was untouchable and locked in. every second was remarkable. the fear? palpable. the gameplay? cinemas wish theyd replicate. i was on edge the entire time. brain firing at maximum capacity. could be my "magnum opus" as said.

and then i open the footage in my editing software.
silence. no ingame audio. not a single sound was picked up
two hours of peak performance. two hours of history gone because OBS decided to update at such a perfect time and hour, with it resetting my audio completely.

i have never experienced this precise blend of stupidity and anguish. i stared at my screen for a solid minute hoping sound would materialize out of sheer willpower. it cant and will not. lesson of the day, please check your obs audio.
