I have been working on this album for a rough 2 years. I've made these songs while in school, working a full time job, and being my own manager and support system for the longest time. This past year has taught me that inspiration can come from so many different things. Just experiencing life can teach you so much. I've gained relationships, lost relationships, and realized life is not just sunshine and rainbows. That the hard times will discourage you, but I have been able to find the beauty in it all.
I am so grateful for black artists making their way in the pop music/ alternative genre and I thank you all for inspiring me creatively as well. We have been underrepresented in this category and I hope my all pop album can contribute and help break those stereotypes that we as black artists have to stay in the R&B category to be successful. I thank everyone that has worked with me, my loved ones, my producers, my gf for being the best gf and photographer/videographer. And I thank you all for listening to all of these stories! Your support means the world to me and I love you all and thank you all for following me on this journey!
