*WORLD teaches us to be independent*
- “You do you.”
- “Rely on yourself.”
- “Don’t need anyone.”
- Success = not needing help.

*The WORD teaches us to be dependent on Him*
- “Apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
- “Trust in the Lord with all your heart” Prov 3:5
- “My grace is sufficient for you” 2 Cor 12:9
- Strength = admitting need.

The world’s “independence” often leaves us isolated. The Word’s “dependence” actually leads to the most secure kind of independence — free from fear, free from people-pleasing, free from having to be enough on your own.
