Emotions are like Pokémon badges; you have to go through each level of emotion to learn how to master and control each one without it inflicting damage back at you.
Most people react to challenging ideas with a primitive, automatic reflex rather than conscious thought — e.g., retaliation to a question that feels as a threat to a biased belief, without any self-examination of why that belief exists internally. Because they lack self-awareness, they don’t realize their mind is interpreting the situation as a threat to their worldview; they simply feel an instinctive surge of discomfort and defend their bias without understanding why or what ideas they are attached to. It’s the same as a doctor tapping your knee — a tribal, emotional response triggered before the mind can even process the idea. The ego blocks any chance for reflection or change before the awareness of self-questioning and understanding can take place, so the person never reaches the level of awareness needed to examine themselves. Therefore, they remain in a constant state of reaction rather than one of stillness and calm, where awareness can form before taking any action.

If you have ample time to complain about your life to other people, you’re living a good life; you just refuse to see it.

If you can only repeat the thought of another, you never internalized that thought yourself.

You are arrogant if you believe you are not leaving a pattern behind with each micro-action you consciously or unconsciously choose to do.

Don’t worry about what people think of you. The unaware mind needs to put a definition on you to feel comfortable and in a state of control.

The more you understand an idea, the more you can break it down into basic everyday words to communicate it.

Be wary of groups who talk the same, act the same, and believe the same.
