Our Soft Tissue Therapist Katie was “on call” this weekend at the British Rowing English Beach Sprints Regatta in Dorset. She went along to support the Jersey Rowing Club competitors, and as a volunteer for the whole event. However, her “magic hands” were being used for the boat maintenance rather than body maintenance this time, ensuring seats didn’t fall off, nuts and bolts were tightening after each sprint and generally checking everything over to help the safety of participants and the smooth running of the day. It’s an exciting time for Beach Sprints as it will be a new event in the next Commonwealth Games 2026 in Victoria, Australia, and Jersey Rowing Club are hoping to send a squad to compete. Well done JRC for your performances, you did the rock proud!
