Bryce Young was just drafted NO. 1 (1st Overall) by the Carolina Panthers, and is now their new franchise QB! Young joins Cam Newton as the only players drafted 1st overall in the team's relatively short history. WE ARE BACK BABY! But... are we sure it was the right pick? Are we sure he isn't too small?

With the 2023 NFL being less than 2 weeks away, I decided to turn the clock back and discuss what went down with the Carolina Panthers first 4 1st round picks. While we may have gotten the hang of drafting talent after the 2000 NFL Season, Carolina was pathetic when it came to drafting first round talent when the team was first introduced. Kerry Collins, Tim Biakabutuka, Rae Carruth, and Jason Peter were all swings and misses. But just how bad did things get? Very...very bad.
