A hardcore fan of retro material from the 80s and 90s. Collecting as many old promos, commercials, and bumpers for what I like to call retro historical purposes to keep these memories alive, whether they'd be obscure or well known.
This has not been discovered yet, the promo for The Disney Channel's Halloween lineup for October of 1991. It's a sequel to 1990's lineup with the same logo, same effects, similar programs, and maybe, not positive since it has been over 30 years, new additions such as DTV Monster Hits. It would really suck if this was not found by the end of the month. The vague things I do remember was the ending looking like this.
Gotta vent a little. Of all the reaction channels I find to be the lamest, it's gotta be Cinebinge. Here's why. A lot of reaction channels have shown their complete and utter ignorance of everything in life, and it's really annoying when reactors won't stop talking and miss out on important details that they begin to ask stupid questions. Remember that Good Idea Bad Idea video I made about reactors not paying attention? Imagine all forms of ignorance in one reaction channel.
Out of fairness, there are some decent moments from the two. However, that's not enough to save the fact that they're just not the brightest bulbs. One of my problems with them is how they just keep asking way too many questions as if they expect the viewers to answer them. Constantly asking what's happening or what just happened. Here's my biggest problem with Cinebinge. Their ignorance. Apparently, research is an alien concept to the two. My first realization of that is when they were watching Tim Burton's Batman and thought that The Joker's mistress (I forget her name at the moment) would be Harley Quinn later in the film. Anybody with a brain knows that Harley Quinn didn't debut until 1992, and the film was from 1989. Then, during their reaction to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, they begin the video by asking the stupidest question in the video. Was Space Jam before or after this? My brain felt insulted when that was asked because everybody knows that Roger Rabbit was from 1988, whereas Space Jam was from 1996. Now for the cherry on top of the shit sundae. Their latest video on Rocky Horror had them cracking a Great Scott joke in regards to Dr. Scott. When Brad yells "Great Scott," they suddenly ask if Back To The Future was before or after Rocky Horror, which then I said that's it I'm done, and I shut off the video. Then again, they've been asking way too many stupid questions anyway and had no idea who Meat Loaf was.
That only proves that they have not bothered to improve themselves and continue to remain absolutely ignorant that they seem incredibly butthurt by criticism that they continue to make more of their Reading Mean Comments videos. That only proves they're not immune to criticism. Good thing I'm not subbed to them, and I never will be. I just have zero tolerance for ignorance and stubbornness as they've shown in their "mean comments" videos where they act like they're better than their quote unquote haters. It's even worse when their fanboys defend them like they're God's gift. I think I ranted enough. Good night, friends.
I’ve got good news and bad news. The bad news is that I am scrapping my plans to re-create The Disney Channel’s 1989 Halloween lineup due to no volunteers willing to help out with the project. The good news is that I have an idea for a new Milo and Otis dubbed by Beavis and Butt-Head video where it’s technically a crossover with another movie. As soon as I get the footage from the other movie for this video, I will get to work on it and upload it whenever it’s ready.
During these troubling times, including yesterday and today being the anniversary of 9/11, it's moments like this where I want to turn off reality and escape back to the age where I had my happiest days. That's why every video I provide is a means of coping with the difficulties we all face these days as a means of entertainment, and the same can be said about some of the parody videos I make where all they do is make people laugh. That's all I ever hope in all the videos I've provided the past two years. They bring entertainment, nostalgia, and laughter. An escape from reality. And with all we're going through, including what happened yesterday, we need a smile every once in a while.
The rest of September has newly added videos scheduled to go live on their dates. I may add one more for the final Saturday of the month as soon as I get a Saturday morning themed video. I don't have anything lined up for October yet as I haven't found any Halloween themed videos on Archive at the moment. But given the fact that we're still in the beginning of September, we have plenty of time.
Speaking of time, I still want to do that re-creation of The Disney Channel's Halloween lineup of 1989, but so far I have not received any volunteers to find footage from Blackbeard's Ghost, no volunteers to create the text and other effects such as the headstone, the guillotine blade, and sharp teeth. To get what I'm talking about, here's the video. https://youtu.be/QTCAs7VG5oM
I do want to start this project as soon as possible so I can have it ready by the time October arrives. So once more, if anyone wants to help out with this project, contact me at misteroldschoolguy@gmail.com and we'll work something out. Have a good day.
I need help in identifying the CBS affiliate station on this video I have finished editing, but probably won't upload until late December since it is holiday themed and, as a heads up, it's an episode of Pee-wee's Playhouse. I did a little research and my guess is that it could possibly be KTVL in Medford, Oregon, but I can't be positive because the quality of the video is grainy, and there were no other station IDs throughout the rest of the video. If anybody knows what this station is, please let me know.

October is almost here. That means spooky music for a whole month. Here are five of my favorite monster rock songs I enjoy every October.
