I'm sharing all my tools with you in how I lost 60 pounds in my 40s while struggling with Kidney Disease, Celiac Disease, and psoriasis. I started strength training on my 40th birthday & have been consistently sharing my journey. I know you can do the same if you allow yourself to step into the unknown & commit to the fitness lifestyle. I'm the creator of the KRF Sleep Waist Trainer & Eat Your Way To Fit Fitness program. I grew up in New York. Happily married 2 my blind date, the inventor of Hang-O-Matic, Jared Rabin. I have been battling with my weight most of my life. I was diagnosed with PKD at 10 and celiac Disease at 32 years old. After many years of yo-yo diets and too much cardio, I learned there’s another way when I signed up to try for a Bikini Fitness competition in 2018. However, doubt got in my way, and I didn't complete my goal until 2023 when I took first place in the bikini division. Today, I want to inspire you not to give up.

Trauma shaped me. That’s what nobody talks about.
No amount of fitness content will change your body
if you’re not aware of what’s controlling your choices.
I thought I was failing diets starting over again and again
just to get the exact same result.
I wasn’t failing. I was protecting myself.
Food was comfort. Staying the same felt safe.
And control? I found it in the smallest things even sleeping in a body shaper.
Holding everything in and while trying to feel “put together" even when I wasn’t.
Because if I could control my body maybe I didn’t have to feel everything else.
But here’s what I learned in the last few years that I was scared to share. You can’t reshape your body without facing what shaped your habits.
Even when I lost the weight, even when I hit my goal I still felt the same inside.
Still not enough, still disappointed.
I have been going through a lot of healing since I started my fitness journey. I didn't realize how much trauma I actually have. I understand now that it was never just about my body.
It was about what I believed about myself.
And until I changed that nothing on the outside was ever going to fix it. I continue to sleep in the shaper because self growth never stops and it's a reminder of why I started which supports me to keep going. waistedmom is a system to consistency which is required regardless. waistedmom.com

You don’t fix hormones with hacks. You fix them with consistency.
Skipping meals then overeating at night. That doesn’t work.
Living on coffee??? stress??? Hurts hormones.
Sleeping 4–5 hours. Starting over every Monday. ( that’s what I used to do & it didn’t help )
And then wondering why your cravings feel out of control and your energy crashes
and your body won’t change.
That’s not your body working against you.
That’s your body adapting to inconsistency.
Hormones don’t just randomly break.
They reflect your patterns.
And the good news?
When you change the pattern your body starts to respond.
What change are you willing and able to make today?

5 signs you’re not depressed you’re just disconnected from yourself
Sometimes it’s what happens when you’ve been ignoring yourself for too long
When you’re constantly distracted. When you’re not doing things that actually make you feel alive. When you’re living based on what you think you should do instead of what you need
Your body doesn’t shut down because you’re not broken. It shuts down because it’s trying to get your attention.
Before you label yourself. Slow down and ask yourself where you’ve been abandoning you. #selfloveclub #transformation #selflove

“Why isn’t it working?”
You keep asking that question like the answer is hiding somewhere outside of you.
But you’re missing the point.
The only reason you think it’s not working is because you chose one place to look. The scale.
every time you step on it waiting for validation. Waiting for proof. Letting a number decide if you’re doing a good job or not. If the number doesn’t change, you feel frustrated. Meee toooooo. I’ve been there toooooo. I’m there sometimes now tooo. That doesn’t just disappear into thin air.
And when it doesn’t move you tell yourself nothing is changing. And I tell myself, track your food, see what you’re doing before you stop.
Meanwhile everything is changing.
Your discipline is changing. Your habits are changing or maybe not. The way you speak to yourself is changing or maybe not. The fact that you didn’t quit today when you used to is changing or maybe you did?
But you don’t count any of that.
Because you’re looking for progress in the one place it rarely shows up first which needs to stop.
And I see this every single day.
Women messaging me saying they feel stuck. Saying nothing is working. And when I ask them one simple question they can’t answer it.
What actually makes you happy? I know the scale does not make anyone happy. Working out makes everyone happy. But most don’t admit it.
Silence. I get silence when I ask that question.
Because somewhere along the way you stopped measuring your life by how you feel and started measuring it by how you look.
So now even when you’re doing better you still feel like you’re losing.
That’s the real problem.
You’re chasing a number thinking it’s going to give you something it was never designed to give you.
Confidence. Peace. Self respect.
That doesn’t come from a scale.
That comes from becoming someone who shows up for herself whether anyone sees it or not. Whether the number moves or not.
So no, it’s not that it’s not working.
It’s that you’ve been looking in the wrong place this whole time.
And until you change that you’ll keep missing the progress that’s right in front of you.

Can you handle the truth? That’s the real question. Not “why can’t I lose weight?”
Because most women & men already know what to do. They just don’t want to hear what it actually takes.
You’re not stuck because your body is broken. You’re stuck because everything you’re doing is halfway.
Half tracking. Half workouts.
Half consistency. Half commitment.
And it keeps you in that place no one talks about. Skinny fat or maintenance fat or with belly fat.
Somewhere between 130 and 180 pounds depending on your height.
Not overweight, but not toned. Not unhealthy, but not confident.
So people say, “you look great.”
And you smile, but you don’t feel it.
Because you know.
You know you’re not showing up the way you could. You know you start and stop. You know you’ve done strict diets before, but never stayed consistent long enough with the right system.
That’s the truth.
And most people don’t want to hear it. They want a new plan. A new trick. Something easier.
But the answer isn’t easier.
It’s structure. It’s commitment just like marriage. It’s doing the same things long enough for your body to finally respond.
That’s how you get out of that in-between body or maintenance and lose a pound a week.
So I’ll ask you again.
Can you handle the truth?

“ You look great”
I know that’s what everyone says.
And I appreciate it. I really do.
But let me make you think about it a little differently.
I’ve shared the hard days before the days I wanted to quit. Most people scroll right past those. And the truth is there were a lot more moments I didn’t share.
Because I didn’t even know how to put it into words at the time. What it feels like to do everything “right” and still not see anything change.
The frustration.
The starting over.
Again and again.
You don’t grab your camera in the middle of that. You’re not thinking, “let me record this.”
And even if you do no one really wants to see someone crying all the time. We all post the pretty parts. That’s what people want to see.
No one is out here searching, “how do I be more frustrated?” So yes you see the result now.
But you didn’t see the discipline it took to get here. Or the mental battles that didn’t make it online.
Because “looking great” was never really the goal.
Feeling in control of myself was. Keeping promises to myself was. Becoming someone I respect was. Showing my kids what fitness looks like because they are watching. I watched my mom eat her way to 300 pounds & it was up to me to change that.
That’s the part that changed everything.
So thank you but this didn’t happen by accident. It happened because I stopped waiting to feel motivated and started showing up anyway.
And that version of me? She’s not going anywhere. I invite you to join me on your journey to feeling good & looking good because you deserve to love the body that you are in ❤️.

You think this is a body transformation.
It’s not. The version of you on the right kept quitting on yourself.
You waited until you felt ready. You started and stopped more times than you can count. You thought something was wrong with you.
Nothing was wrong with you. You just didn’t have structure. The version of you on the left didn’t get there because you became more motivated.
You got there because you stopped negotiating with yourself.
Same body, different standards, different identity.
This is why you feel stuck. You’re trying to change your body without changing how you show up for yourself.
If you’re tired of starting over, start with structure. Start with something that actually holds you accountable.
Start with the WaistedMom System.

You can’t outsource discipline. You can’t shortcut consistency.
There’s no hack for showing up when you don’t feel like it. No one is coming to do it for you, and that’s exactly why it works. Your body, your confidence, your standards all become a reflection of the choices you repeat daily. #EatYourWayToFit #LiveYourWayToFit
