Update on yalls favorite feral speral:

So for backround he cut his shoulder but I’m really bad at describing stuff like this so it was like bad but also not that bad but also idk so I’m just putting a picture in for context

But he got stitches the day that this happened (Thursday) last week and he’s been on stall rest since and boy I had to hand walk him today and he really lived up to the speral name, my dude was running in circles around me bucking like the lead rope was a lunge line 😭 but he realized how silly that was and then stopped his shenanigans promptly😜 but he’s off until either Tuesday or Wednesday so I won’t lesson him at all this week so either no lesson videos or some with another horsie

little update on sperals foot incase yall were wondering ✨

basically he has had his feet done and looked at a couple times now and the farrier was able to sorta chip at the crack a tad bit to see how deep it is and luckily it isn’t deep and its healing super quickly with it getting soaked daily and special conditioner

so he is 100% sound and happy right now and is cleared to do everything low impact (flatting/cavalettis and lower) woot woot

i have a lesson tomorrow where im supposed to do tiny cavalettis with him which will be his first time (technically) jumping in almost a month so pray for me
speral will also have next week off from jumping or poles of any sort after tmr


i also got my pictures back from a show from early july so isnt it cutie
