Hey everyone ❤️

I just wanted to apologize for the recent drop in posts and updates. I’m currently in the middle of moving to a different country, and adjusting to a completely new environment, language, and way of life has taken more time and energy than I expected.

I don’t want you to think I’ve disappeared or abandoned the channel. Once I get everything settled and figure things out, I’ll gradually return to my normal activities and posting schedule.

In the meantime, I’ll still be keeping a close eye on everything Resident Evil. If there’s any important news, update, announcement, or something I think you guys should know about, I’ll make sure to post it.

Resident Evil Requiem' Stars Nick Apostolides, Angela Sant'Albano to Host Gamescom's Future Games Show (EXCLUSIVE) the show will be held by the end of this month ..

I guess requiem will have somthing but I’m not rolling Veronica I think all this is misleading and we’re gonna get at least a solid trailer for Veronica .. not that I’m not exited to get any info on the requiem expansions but I think they might push to the back of Veronica .. I might be wrong but this is me guessing based on the current rumors!

BREAKING NEWS 🚨:

Capcom Confirms they’re working and gonna work on more remake(s)!

As part of the celebrations for Resident Evil’s 30th anniversary, producer Masachika Kawata gave an exclusive interview to Game Informer magazine, in which he broke down the company’s current vision for the series and its place in an increasingly changing industry.

🔹 Why so many remakes?

For Capcom, keeping a franchise alive and relevant three decades later is a constant challenge. Kawata explained the reasoning behind this approach:

“One of the reasons for creating remakes is producing a new entry in the Resident Evil series every year would be quite an undertaking and a difficult task. So, being able to revisit older games and remake them helps Capcom meet that goal of releasing a Resident Evil title each year, but it also allows the team to continually challenge themselves and hone their craft. That’s not to say the remakes are any less important. In fact, they’re just as important as the mainline titles. Capcom is lucky enough to have found this cycle that can continue to provide us with the financial resources to create things like new entries in the Resident Evil series and completely new IP like Pragmata. So there is that relationship there.”

The strategy combines maintaining the series’ annual presence without compromising the quality of new stories, while the revenue generated by these remakes funds more ambitious projects and original intellectual properties.

🔹 Why aren’t there more spin-offs?

When asked why there have been so few spin-offs in recent times, the answer lies in a lack of resources, as developers are focused on other projects:

“Maybe there are a lot of people out there who would like to see more spinoff titles or such, but honestly, the team is giving everything it has right now, working on things like our new entries like Requiem or remakes. So honestly, at the moment, that’s where our efforts [are] being focused. We are so focused on pouring our energy into that, I don’t think there’s a whole lot left right now for a spinoff.”

Currently, human and technological resources are fully devoted to ensuring that both the new installments and the reimagined classics meet the quality standards fans expect.

For now, the focus remains on the main series and its remakes, with the upcoming Resident Evil Veronica confirmed for 2027, but Kawata himself hasn't ruled out the possibility that, once the current workload eases up, they may once again consider other aspects of the franchise's universe.
