REMEMBER WHEN CHÁVEZ JR LOOKED THIS GOOD? 🇲🇽🥊 It's easy to forget just how much hype surrounded Julio César Chávez Jr at his peak. Unbeaten. WBC middleweight champion. Huge crowds. And carrying one of the most famous names in boxing. In 2012, he faced future world champion Andy Lee — and for me, this was about as good as Chávez Jr ever looked. CHÁVEZ JR vs ANDY LEE — FULL FIGHT 🇺🇸 7PM CT 🇲🇽 6PM Mexico City 🇬🇧 1AM UK Was this peak Chávez Jr? 👇 And how good could he actually have become?
NEVER HEARD OF THIS FIGHT? GOOD. 😂🥊 This is exactly why I've started digging through some of boxing's forgotten classics. Tonight we've got Thomas Tate vs Merqui Sosa from 1999. No, it isn't Ali vs Frazier. It isn't Hagler vs Hearns. And I'm guessing plenty of you have never even seen it. But trust me on this one... 🔥 Knockdowns 🥊 Two blokes absolutely going for it 💥 A brutal finish 👀 And a fight that somehow seems to have disappeared from boxing history. THE GREAT FIGHT NOBODY REMEMBERS. 🥊 TATE vs SOSA — FULL FIGHT

TWO HALL OF FAMERS. TWO OF THE BEST OF THEIR GENERATION. 🥊
Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker. Azumah “The Professor” Nelson.
In 1990, these two legends stepped into the same ring with Whitaker’s incredible defence, movement and timing going up against the relentless pressure and experience of the great Azumah Nelson.
No gimmicks. No manufactured rivalry.
Just two bloody brilliant fighters at the top of their game.
Tonight I’m uploading the FULL FIGHT to The Fight Fan.
Lightning-fast hands. A granite chin. Brilliant combinations. And at 29 years old, he shocked Anthony Joshua and became unified heavyweight champion of the world.
Then… it all seemed to disappear.
Was June 1st 2019 simply one extraordinary night?
Or did we miss out on seeing just how good Andy Ruiz could REALLY have been?

Has modern boxing become better at creating stars than creating champions? 🥊
Conor Benn became one of British boxing’s biggest names, made enormous money and eventually fought for a world title.
But had he actually proved he was an elite fighter?
Tonight I take a look at the strange rise of Conor Benn — the surname, the matchmaking, Eubank, the controversy… and finally Ryan Garcia.

1,730 punches. Two unbeaten heavyweights. 12 rounds of absolute WAR. 🥊🔥
David Tua was 27-0 with 23 KOs.
Ike Ibeabuchi was 16-0.
What followed became one of the great forgotten heavyweight fights.
Was Tua vs Ibeabuchi the BEST heavyweight fight of the 1990s?
The FULL FIGHT goes live on The Fight Fan tonight at 7:00 PM UK time.
And I've got another question for you…
If Ike Ibeabuchi's career hadn't unravelled, just how good could “The President” have become?
See you at 7. 👊
