Hey there, friendlies!

I've been thinking about that Nessmuk trio series I said I wanted to shoot a while back, then less of a while back, then again...

The Nessmuk DIY knife is no longer available at Bushcraft Canada, but they have these two:

The Brisa is the one I wanted in the kit form. Looks really good, though of course the price has gone up.

They now sell Joker, which offers several cool options, including this one, which is kind of similar, but as a bonus has a ferro rod and is flat-ground. I just don't know much about the brand:

Full disclosure: this is a medium-term plan rather than short-term; 2026 has to be about financial hygiene, but I have a to-buy list to add one of these to, as well as the pocket knife.

Hey there friendlies! Sorry, but tonight’s stream is cancelled due to a heavy weather incident that has knocked out the power to a large chunk of the city. They’ve been pushing back our power restoration all day. At this point, we’re giving up and heading to a hotel for the night.

I couldn’t find a wee stamp of the YouTube logo, so I made one out of a white eraser. I use it in my planner to note my subscriber numbers for each of my channels on the first of every month.
