After a bit of a hiatus - we finally have a new video coming out today at 12pm GMT! 🪴

In it, we explore different methods of making plant pots out of recycled plastic. Starting off with a simple DIY approach, and then trying to go bigger. For our final one, we were tasked with making something that could go on display for an event in New York - so we had to pull out all the stops with a brand new technique for us.

WE NEED ADVICE from you wonderful people! ♻️

Over the years we’ve done a bunch of different types of videos, but it’d be useful to know the kind of long-form videos you'd prefer to see more of on our channel. We’re not saying that we’ll solely focus on one type, as it's always nice to have some variety, but we can certainly look to make more the videos that you guys want to see.

Here’s a bit of background on each type, if you'd like a bit more info ⬇️

1. PRODUCTION/MANUFACTURING ⚙️ - these are videos that show the lifecycle of a product that either we’ve come up with, or are collaborating on with another business on to bring an idea to life, and show you the various stages of the process and what needs to be considered. Examples you may have seen are ‘Making Combs out of Plastic Waste’ or ‘How We Made 64,000 Beads from Beach Waste'

2. DIY VIDEOS 🪛 - these are generally more accessible recycled plastic builds that people can re-create at home using fairly standard workshop tools. Examples are ‘Your First Recycled Plastic Project’ or ‘7 Ways to Make Stuff from Recycled Plastic'

3. RESEARCH/EXPLORATION 🔬 - this is where we’re looking into a new area of recycling, or are testing out a new method or material to see what potential it may have. Examples of these videos are ‘How Many Times Can Plastic Really be Recycled?’ Or ‘Recycled Plastic Bricks - Do They Work?’

4. INFORMATIVE 💡 - these are more guides on a very specific topic to be implemented within your own plastic recycling. Examples are ‘How to Identify Unmarked Plastic’ and ‘Your Plastic Recycling Safety Guide’.

5. OTHER'S STORIES 📚 - in these we highlight what other people around the world are doing to help reduce plastic waste to raise awareness on the different possibilities of plastic. An example being ‘Can Africa’s Smallest Country Fight Plastic Pollution’

OPINIONS NEEDED 🧡🩷

In addition to our current range of Loops, we're looking to add a limited run of a new colour. By very popular request, we are testing out some orange and pink combinations. Here you can see that we've made three different options for you - let us know down below which your favourite is, the light, medium or dark - and the most popular colour will be made into a small-batch of limited edition pairs.

We compared different types of ‘sustainable’ bag options to work out which was actually good for the planet.. and the results surprised us! Then we made our own tote bag from 20 broken or single use bags fused together to try and beat all the others. We’d love to hear what you think! ♻️🌍🤙🏽
