Welcome to James Atkinson's Lost Scores Project!
Over the past 62 years, Doctor Who has had 319 stories; composed by a total of 28 different composers. And, to cut a long story short, the vast majority of this music will never be released.
That's where I come in. I'm James Atkinson. You may know me from the James A channel, but if you don't, that's fine! I'm from New Zealand, and I've been watching Doctor Who since the age of 4 or 5. I don't know much about music, but that won't get in the way of my goal to provide you guys with as much clean, original music from the show as possible. And that is what The Lost Scores Project is.
I'll be working to create full isolated scores from the Classic Series, whilst uploading individual isolations from various New Series episodes. This will also be a place to upload full, broadcast-accurate scores that currently exist.
The goal of all this? To build a collection of Doctor Who's music from the past 62 years for everyone to enjoy.

Check out the latest upload on my main channel, where I show you the basics and talk about how I isolated Fighting the Flood!
Channel update:
Classic Series: I will soon begin work on the next full score: The Sontaran Experiment. I think it has some really great cues, and the isolation work is significantly easier than what was required for The Ambassadors of Death. After that, my attention will turn to what is probably the most popular classic series episode score composed by Dudley Simpson. NOTE: Don't expect anything from the classics for at least 2-3 weeks.
New series: I'm working on a few tracks from the Tennant Christmas Specials, and I'm nearly done on a track I had a request for from The End of Time, which should be up in a few days.
Bonus: the regeneration theme collection vids that were originally on my main channel will be back up in January, but with updated isolations and the clean tracks for the 1st and 12th Doctor's regeneration themes (now released in the Series 10 soundtrack).
There are also plenty of previous isolations to re-upload, so I'll continue to upload at least once a week the next few months. As always, feel free to leave requests and feedback in the comments anytime!
Merry Christmas, and enjoy the vid!

Doctor Who: The Lost Scores Project
For Doctor Who Day, you may have seen I've just uploaded 'Titanic in the TARDIS' - a very short cue from Voyage of the Damned. It's a really fun track, and easily worth a listen. But, if you are in the mood for a music discussion, then check out a video I've just uploaded to my main channel, where I rank every Doctor Who regeneration theme!
