Hi, I'm Tristan. I travel and camp a lot in my SUVs, a 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser and a 2005 Honda Element. (I used to have a RAV4, but it died when I hit a deer, and I used to have a Yukon, but it was totaled in an accident.) For me, SUVs are the perfect adventure vehicle. I'm based in SW Wyoming and go on trips from there. I'm married and have a house but sleep/camp in my SUVs about 70+ nights per year.
My travels mostly revolve around exploring the mountains and deserts of the western US.

Look at this beauty I came across recently while out riding my motorcycle in the middle of nowhere! I was riding slowly through a sandy section, and it caught my eye because it was a different color than basically everything else out there. I turned the bike off and stared at the point for several seconds, thinking “Is that what I think it is??” The bottom part has broken off, but still, so cool! Only the second arrowhead I’ve ever found. (Note that it’s illegal to remove Native American artifacts from public lands.)
