Professional. Husband. Dad. Gardener. Builder. Gym Rat.
All of these things are important in my life, and I often struggle to give everything the focus it deserves.
Some days it feels like I’m being pulled in 6 directions… and all 6 are worth it.
I want to show up at work.
I want to be a husband who’s present.
I want to be a dad my kids feel proud of.
I want to grow food because it keeps us stay connected and healthy.
I want to train because it has a direct impact on my health and longevity.
And I want to build because creating something with my hands is where my purpose and creativity come alive.
The hard part isn’t choosing what matters. It’s giving each one the attention it deserves in the same 24 hours.
So I’m learning to stop chasing a “perfect balance” and leaning to intention and quality time. How you do something is so much more important than the amount of time you spend doing it.

No one magically has a green thumb. And honestly, you’ll never fully figure out gardening. Start anyway.
With any new thing you try to learn, comes struggles and failures. Failures bring learning, learning brings growth, growth brings new skills. Not just gardening, planning, dedication, care.
I remember starting my first gardens and none of it was perfect, but I still tried. And I’ll admit it took me a lot longer to figure things out that I wanted and I can say that statement is probably true for many people trying to start something new. This is exactly why I started making and posting content online. I had dedicated the time, did the research, read books and learned what I actually needed to do to be successful in the garden.
now I do my best to create easy to understand content with actual steps to grow success.
