My Journey with the Badge Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the firsthand stories of law enforcement officers.

Through in-depth recorded interviews, we document the careers, challenges, and defining moments of those who served behind the badge. These stories provide historical insight, professional perspective, and a permanent record of the human experience in law enforcement.

Founded by retired Deputy Chief of Police Jason Cates after more than 29 years of service, the Foundation ensures these voices are preserved for the benefit of future generations.
